Abilities: Leader of the Cybertron forces. The best swordsman in the universe, this mightiest of the Brainmaster warriors contains within him the symbol of good known as the "Courage Brain."

Weapons: Saber Blade, Saber Laser

Final Attack: The "Planetary Impulse Sword" - Gathering the entire energy of a planet into his Saber Blade, this invincible final attack can destroy just about anything.


Profile: Took God Ginrai's place as the fifth Cybertron Leader. Together with Blacker and company, this veteran Brainmaster has travelled about the universe for eons. He is a universal hero, who would carry through for Good even if it meant exhausting his life force. Normally he is very gentle and quiet.

Profile: Jazz would be cruising down Bourbon Street in New Orleans or be double-parked outside a cellar club in Greenwich Village soaking up the local sounds if he weren't in the middle of a war. He's a confirmed Earthen culture junkie - he can talk fluently about ballet or break-dancing (although he prefers the latter), and he's always on the lookout for more stuff to turn on to. His knowledge of Earthen ways and his easy adaptability to Earthen environments make him the indispensable right-hand man of his commander, Optimus Prime. He's often given the most dangerous assignments, and, with characteristic coolness, usually pulls them off using something out of his seemingly bottomless bag of tricks. He'd rather dazzle you with style than accomplish a mission the easy way.

Abilities: In robot mode, Jazz can use his solar-powered photon rifle with deadly accuracy up to a distance of .9 miles from target, and he can shoot it from virtually any physical position he may be in with equal effectiveness. He can also use a combination of his overhead flame-thrower (maximum range of 250 feet), full-spectrum front grill beacon and 180 dB stereo speakers to create a spectacular, disorienting light and sound show. He has been known to glide for more than 3000 feet using his rear-mounted ailerons. His biggest asset is the versatility and cleverness he possesses in using the resources at his disposal.

Weaknesses: Although Jazz's firepower and strength are weak relatives to that of some of the other Autobots, he more than compensates with his daring and skill. He's prone to be distracted from his primary assignment by Earthen behavior patterns that he finds interesting. This sometimes leads to disastrous consequences.

The fact that Jazz somehow beat Overloard. But yeah, I'm still going with Star Saber. But man if Jazz wins this. That'd be crazy. But if we all start to vote for Jazz as a meme, does that mean the Vs. is over?

Well, guess i'm voting for Jazz, likely the fight would just lead to a sorta canonical Protagonist VS Antagonist fight if Star Saber wins this.

Out of everything that has happened in the tournament, the two most surprising have been Super Special Ultimate Hero of the Universe God Ginrai getting knocked out of the tournament in the second round by Mirage (I was expecting him to go further) and the fact that Jazz has survived all the way to the Final Four.

I have voted for characters who didn't win (I voted for Overlord in the last round, for example), but, as the organizer of the tournament, I have to respect the wishes of all the participants. If the majority of them vote for a character in a match, even for reasons of popularity rather than combat capability, that character is going to be declared the winner. I have no control over the outcome of the match-ups beyond my own vote.

 

I was just funnin'. I've been around these boards long enough to know that Jazz is a fan favorite.
