My deluxe edition came with standard edition crates but everything else is there so

 

Im confused. Both versions came with the crates.

 

Both editions come with two crates, but Standard Ed. crates are different dimensions compared to the Deluxe Ed.

 

Never paid attention to that. I got the deluxe soooo long ago. Not sure that was a topic when I was active in this thread.

 

Just received mine today and really am having a hassle with the hinge that connects the head and front of the cab.. it won't lay flush

 

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. I love the look of this figure but the issues I keep hearing of it stop me from making the investment.

 

Sorry if it’s been mentioned elsewhere in the thread, but any idea where I can get some Autobot symbols for the shoulders (maybe some nice water-slide type labels, that don’t look as much like stickers)?

 

It's all diecast so you can't force it down. You have to go back.
That piece needs to be folded down before the one that is behind it.

 

I got that part flush finally.. now I'm working on these issues

 

Not ideal, but I finally left the swappable Cybertronian/Earth pieces off the shoulders and forearms to allow the entire structure to tuck in further - creating enough space for the truck panels to tuck in in alt mode.

 

That was going to be my final option. I have those panels folded down, that helped but not by much

 

Yeah, there may be a way to get it flush without removing pieces, but I found removing them to just be the far less aggravating solution. I've also never managed to get that bar on top flat in alt mode, either. Of course... I've also never managed to get the chest to lock in in 'bot mode, so maybe it's just me! I do love the figure, but it certainly has its faults.

 

Anybody know if the black version is still available anywhere?

So I’ve looked at a few video reviews of the Nemesis version, and I still haven’t seen anyone address where the peg hole covers are supposed to go. Any suggestions?

@dekuzeta dangz! That's a pretty strong intro there for a forum entry.   Man you guys with time, I get so jealous. I worked 16 hours straight yesterday, with enough time to eat, surf email, then sleep...and rinse repeat.
