That might be able to be corrected. Check the tightness of the screw on the back of the hips.

CW did that for Superion too, IIRC. I like the option of the cars in the front.

I believe TFM's Havoc also had the cars in the front.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooof, man, sorry to hear about the trailer.

And yeah, I totally get your stance, first this and then Locke, doesn't really sound good in the long run. I'm personally still in on Springer, the Protectobots and the upcoming revision of Kup, especially with Streetwise being shown to, at worst, just have a really shitty transformation.

Those of us who had trouble separating the two halves of Dead End may see this as an advantage. I had to go at him with a screwdriver in order to separate him for combined mode. Pushed that button for 20 minutes and tried to gently tug before I gave up and came here for instructions on how to separate Dead End.

But, yes, hopefully turning that screw can reverse the issue of the bottom half falling off.

Just got my copy of the XTB reissue Geavestone (MM), he’s pretty nice. I know the combined mode is kinda ass but it’s nice to add all of the Stunticons to the MP Decepticon shelf.

Agreed. It was a big deal when the Cons finally got their cars, plus the real life vehicles are awesome. For some reason I don't feel the same about the Aerial Bots/Superion though- still prefer them combined.

Finally I received Deathwish Youth from ShowZStore on sale, and after a first transformation the defects I found are the same ones that emerge in the Youtube reviews, such as those of emgo316 and Bobby Skullface, for example the detachable spoiler and skirt or the swinging waist.

So I can conclude that I got a genuine one :D

Sorry to see that. :(  I'm afraid to try to pose mine too much in their botmodes as I fear something might unexpectedly break.

I really only need toy Wildrider for my Stunticons shelf to be complete. I've got the Toy Motormaster preordered too, though.

The FT Stunticons are all still stored away, sealed in their boxes. I was impatient and opened their Motormaster since it was the first MP Motormaster but I still prefer XTB's set for display overall. :)

temp fix until parts arrive. Not totally fixed, but at least he looks complete on the shelf for now.

Motormaster to join them tomorrow

Aaaaaand in rolls the big guy

couple of small gripes (shoulders snagging part of the cab frame when rotating arms and the goddam toe clip), but very happy and overall impressed.

they’ll probably wind up with that cube to themselves once the other two arrive.

Trying to transform the trailer into gestalt mode. I'm stuck at an instruction point, and I've referred to two transformation videos which appear to just fold and move this piece effortlessly. It's the point where you have to fold the back trailer wheels into the openings inside the chest so that the chest plate then lies flat. Nothing is budging on mine when I go to do that, and I feel like I'm about to break something.

    What am I missing?

You have to finaggle the chest so the license plate sits behind something I think. Not a great explanation but pay close attention to the double hinge on it when the video shows it being moved.

Take a look at that at around the 9:27 mark. Hope that helps!

I figured it out. There's a locking mechanism that you have to undo and I didn't see it because I was going straight to gestalt, bypassing base mode. But going back through the manual, I still don't see any mention of flipping up the dual locking mechanisms. Once undone, it transforms just like I see in the youtube videos.

Now that I have it fully transformed, I can honestly say, I hated the transformation. I really hated all of it. I kind of expected to hate it, but meh. It will be a long long time until it's ever transformed again.

Does putting Motormaster in the torso make the gestalt feel more solid? Right now I feel like the left side of the gestalt isn't flush like it should be, and no amount of massaging and readjusting is fixing it.

It makes it more solid, but also very back-heavy. I have him in and it is poseable. Others left him out and say that he is even more poseable. It is your personal choice I guess.

I am reposting this for those who are new and just received their XTB trailer and is having trouble posing Monolith. I have these custom 3d printed pieces to aid in the stability of this combiner. Also make sure you tighten up the screws in the ankle area as they work loose as you rock the joints.
