Do they ship outside of Japan? I gave up waiting for Dragstrip from TFSource and got one from eBay. TFSource is taking waaaaay too long to get their shipments.
Yup, I have the other three and have put them up for sale pretty famn cheap. Not sure I believe the last two will come out.
I just checked the site (MANDARAKE | Mail Order FAQ) and it seems that they do ship to other countries.
I'm in the US. They ship here and honestly it was blazing fast. I only checked them out as everyone else was sold out or ridiculously expensive for Capone. 10/10 would recommend.
Nice find! Not every day you see a 3P figure on Mandarake. True story, they once had FT Motormaster for 8000 JPY ($85-90 USD). Pretty much mint but the box was a bit fucked. My favorite Iron Dibots member... They certainly do, but exporting from Japan as a whole is still shaken up a bit due to restrictions still being in place. You can check here for a list of their restrictions on a country-by-country basis.
DX9 messed up the paint on some of them. It seems they included replacement pieces in every box. Whether the paint was messed up or not.
So I took a look at all the car Stunticons I got, and.....it's kind of a mixed bag, honestly. I do like the way the hood transformation is done for the three minus Dead End. - Breakdown/Montana, they sent me one without a pin in his wrist, so I'll have to make a pin out of the huge pile of spare parts they sent me. He's kinda floppy, hood pieces pop off too easy during the transformation, transformation is good, but the ab crunch is very loose. - G2 Wildrider/Henry? Very mixed bag. One of the wheels doesn't roll (hopefully it loosens up with subsequent transformations), the windshield popped off a couple of times during the transformation and the ab crunch is really, really loose. Color pops, the rest of him is rock solid. - Kukinski/Dead End is very solid. I like his car the most out of my collection. No looseness, he does have some clearance issues in the legs, but transformation is easy. I know some complain that he's "too" blocky, but for his form, it works really well. - Dragstrip/Dragstrip is the most solid figure. Not a fan of the "visible head syndrome" as Emgo calls it, but everything about this dude is solid and fun. He suffers from Teen Titans Go Robin's "baby hands" though. All in all? I like this set. When they're transformed, they look like soldiers, a real threat to the Autobots (especially with their imposing size compared to them). They look like a group that belongs together. I don't think they're the "best", but as someone who doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg for FT, and wants a more fun, more physically imposing team than what XTB offers, DX9 is a good choice. I don't care for the floppiness but that can be fixed to a degree. Even with the issues I've encountered, I'd go all in for this set. Now just waiting for Motormaster's (hopefully) impending release.
Is it just me or does it seem like there are more limb bots than Capones? I mean, I can still buy limb bots, but not Capone. Shouldn't there be a 1:1 availability with other team members? I have a pre-order in with TFsource for Dragstrip, but I still need Capone. Is that re-release still happening? Starting to wonder if I began something I can't finish.
No one knows when exactly it's being reissued but i'm still kicking myself in the ass for not just spending a little more and buying him from ShowZ late last year when they had him. My BBTS had too good of a price to give up so here I am with 7 limb bots and nothing to connect them to. I'm still confident he'll be reissued, it's only just a matter of when.
I have been waiting for the last 2 G2 Stunticons but I am beginning to have my doubts as well. The XTB versions just seemed too small for me and with the trailer fiasco I don't want to pay that much for the set. But it has been a little while and while I see pre-orders out for re-issues of DX9's previous releases recolored versions of the 2 missing bots seems more and more unlikely. Since I wanted a glorious, hideous and garish Menasor on display if they don't release them I will probably just end up selling mine. But I'll skip the XTB ones and just end up with other TFs instead.
My Capone arrived months late with a water soaked box. A few people on FB mentioned never receiving their orders and having to file claims. Maybe a large chunk of Capones were destroyed?
Maybe they on one of those freighters that Maybe he was recovered from one of those ships that got overturned?
