I’ve been thinking about looking for some of these on eBay for a while, as this line seems like it was pretty good. Any suggestions?

    Titan's Return was just loaded:
    Legends:
The non-tape ones are all pretty good (the tapes were turrrrible)
Brawn/Seaspray/Cosmos are probably the standouts (Edit: and as noted below, Wheelie too)

    Deluxe:
As @DarkRed401 said, Trigger-happy is probably the best. He has such a fantastic transformation scheme and looks great in both modes

also great: Hardhead, Top Spin, Twin Twist, Perceptor, Weird Wolf (but watch out for the rubber door), Blurr (way better then SS86 if you can get the Takara Legends version), Scourge, Skullcrusher... pretty much all of them.
unfortunately the Wave 4 & 5 figures are ccurrently composed of unobtanium....

The Voyagers were probably the weak link in the line, as shoe-horning Triple changing into all of them was kind of dumb.
Blitzwing and Octane are pretty solid though.

The Leaders are universally ace, except Soundwave who had too much vestigial Blaster left over and Powermaster Prime who just felt half baked - Legends Super Ginrai is much more successful, although apparently a bit fragile.
Sixshot is probably the standout for me, but Back Shadow and Overlord are great too.

of the Titans, Fort max is probably the worst of all of them (too much leftover Metroplex, not enough actual alt modes), but Trypticon is probably the best (or right up there)

To add to his list, Voyager sentinel prime is Aces in my opinion. Because that mold is such a TERRIBLE astrotrain, it works as someone new. And orange is great.

In terms of actual Titans Returns figures, we like Sky Shadow.

If you're willing to spend for the various Legends and Legends EX figures, then it opens up...a lot.

This was IMO the last line where having multiple figures enhanced each of them. The gimmicks in TR were so cohesive and thorough that any handful of toys from the line is a great time. There are obvious winners as mentioned above like Topspin and Triggerhappy but really any of them can be a lot of fun once you get the ball rolling.

    This one. FB_IMG_1540755584480-1_(1).jpg

Seriously it's my favorite TF line. There's a ton of great molds in the line. Black Shadow is high on my list, Blur is an amazing deluxe, you'll hear a lot of great things about Triggerhappy, Blitzwing is also a personal favorite, and Seaspray and Octane are damn near perfect. What a great year that was!!

Everything apart from the Buzzsaw/Laserbeak mold is awesome. TR was one of the best lines ever.

TR has got some real gems:
    Seaspray
    Sixshot
    Twin Twist
    Topspin
    Triggerhappy
    Misfire
    Slugslinger
    All the Clones
    Perceptor
Wheelie too, especially the Takara version.

I regret not getting more, like Blitzwing and others. I’m trying to get all the WM Headmasters because I missed them during TR.

THIS, and yes even the repaints. My personal favorite is Greatshot, and Super Megatron (from TR Galvatron mold)

You can read / view the whole thread, worth it. Re-read twice myself

Yep, these would be my picks if I could only keep 2...
What a great line. I do not plan to sell any of mine!

I do have a few TR figures, as in: Takara Soundwave, Hasbro Ravage and Buzzsaw, Walmart Hardhead, Chromedome, and Brainstorm, as well as a Overlord who’s missing his headmaster. I’m currently trying to track down voyager Optimus and Megs, as I’ve decided that the best voyager Megs we’ve ever got, as well as a good companion Optimus.

Sentinel Prime. Ban me, I don't care.

I also like Powermaster Prime, Overlord, and anyone whose chest does a little spin thing during transformation.

I would try to get PMOP, but he goes for a bit too much for me on ebay

Consider doing a long hunt for the Legends Ginrai/Godbomber set. Every so often it shows up on Mandarake or something for around the cost of two US leaders, and it's extremely good.

All of them, the only ones i didnt like were the skullcruncher mold but that was because it has loose balljoints and the legs kept falling off. tr galvatron has terrible ankles so he has to lean forward most of the time but other than that i do not mind it at all i actually like the mask over any of the upgrades. The only mainline figures i didn't pick up was soundwave and laserbeak that was because i didnt like soundwaves alt mode and the scale of it laserbeak was just to big i also didnt pick up power master prime but that was because i got magnus prime.

I’m only willing to pay the US leader msrp for pmop, not really interested in legends prime.

I thought Highbrow and Perceptor were pretty awesome. Skullcruncher was good with a bit of work.. I regret not picking up Krok. mindwipe was good, but I had to customize him to enjoy him, because batformers being in permanent wing splay annoys me. As people have said,Triggerhappy was fantastic. Hot Rod was a nice attempt, but is easily overshadowed by other attempts (including his LG counterpart.)

I really wanted to like PMOP. I got him under the assumption that I would be able to get the 3P upgrades, but they went pretty quick. That left me with a toy that was.. largely ass. Sixshot was great, but he really needed better knees. And Trypticon was nearly perfect aside from that clear plastic door. (i had a hinge break)
