I didn't even know there was a giveaway. I want that little guy. Smaller makes it better for some reason.

Is it 200 for legend scale or is there going to be MP scale?

The $200 is the MP scale. As far as I know, there's no Legends scale being sold, only the micro ones that Dave has printed as raffle prizes.

The $50 listing on his Etsy is for a "payment plan" for Infernus, not a legends class figure.

No legends class figures yet, but they should happen IMHO!! I’ve never had any issues with @Dave Lee, I have no reason to believe he’s Josh Smith, He’s done something pretty awesome and I hope it is successful. The fact that people jump the gun to attack someone trying to do something as ambitious as this project is mind blowing. Especially when Dave is pretty darn easy to get in touch with. If someone was scamming people I don’t think they’d make themselves to readily available.

He’s sending out lottery prize figures with professional packaging, has all the bio cards ready and is now receiving the plastic-cast parts for Infernus. His legitimacy just keeps rising imo and he’s very responsive to messages both here and on Facebook.
I actually also got a refund (with no issues) to fuel my latest Hot Toys addiction while we wait for this to be ready but I’ll be diving straight back in once I see the finished product. That Scorponok is totally the MVP.

YES! I don't get non-transforming transformers. But I'm okay with partsforming. Looking forward to what you come up with.

Hmm. Bad call imo. Even with removable wings the backpack has already doubled in size. I guess ‘everyone’ doesn’t include me so I’m out on that one. My own custom will do. Was primarily after the beast mode figure anyway.

Generally inclined to agree. On the plus side, only means one purchase rather than two, but unlike most, I'm not fussed about Transformation, I'm more interested in screen accuracy. Props to Dave for taking on the hefty challenge and I'll likely pick it up because I'm sure it will still look spectacular if his previous designs are anything to go by.

    I mean, as a non-customer, I don't get a vote, but I'm gonna say things anyway.

    I'm on team transform.

I have seen these figures on FB with this same discussion.
Not my cup of tea but I do like them and it looks like production is on schedule from what I have seen posted.
About him beeing who he is or was or beeing a scammer now or in the past.
That part is done very easy, stop hiding in anonymity on the internet if you want to run a business.
I had a dogfood and supplement site for a few years, everybody could find my info on who I am, where I live and what I do.
By law you need to over here anyway if you want to run things legal.
So if he is true about everything he is doing, he want to make a real business with this, come out of the shadows and reveal your identity.
You want people's trust and money, give them a reason why they should trust you.
I would never back anything up with money with out knowing who I am dealing with.

Darn I was definitely on team non transform for Terrorsaur as I really wanted more screen accuracy. I kind of hope he just makes all three (two non transforming and then the transforming parts-former).

Maybe the beast-mode-only figure will still be a thing. I wanted one that could stand with his belly facing forwards but there’s no way there won’t just be a full robot mode hanging off the transforming one.
There’s always those £20 Jurassic Park Pteranodon figures...

While I see you're point, dog food and supplements don't necessarily tip-toe around IP infringement.

Back to the point, really loving these designs. While I think its entirely possible to have a fully transforming terrorsaur with out removable wings, I will take a skilled CAD engineer and perhaps advanced software to assist an amazing artist like David. Two completely different but complementary skill sets. I could see each wing fan in on itself and the one wing would need to rotate 180 chest to back, prior to sliding into the back pack. Plenty of telescoping & hinge joints and daunting to say the least.

so yeah, popping the wings off is the way to go for a one man start up. looking fwd to supporting the effort.
