I just noticed. Yeah the new optional faces are good starting point for improvement.

 

I'll wait for a side by side comparison with the original. I skipped that one because it looked too bland in the finish department, too plasticcy

 

I own and live this figure even though the plastic feels very cheap.

 

getting this guy, he looks good with the paint, I know the old one had issues, but he looks good in bot mode, and that's really all I need, plus I don't think anyone is going to make another one anytime soon

 

I MIGHT get it because of the new faces but they had better fix the floppiness of the bot mode. I was hoping FT would do this character.

 

This bot was a steaming heap when it originally came out and I'm skeptical if they actually brought it up to today's standards until proven wrong.

 

You can spray a heap of dung with Chanel No 5.

The end result is still a heap of dung.

 

Judging by the some of the QC complaints of XTB's (same company) newly released Fuzz, I'm not sure if it is up to today's standards. If all we're getting with this release is some extra faces, which are needed, and a needless "metallic" paint scheme yet the qc hiccups are still there then this gets the thumbs down from me.

When is this releasing? Omegalock has it down as June but I've saw others say September. Which is correct?

 

When it doubt, it’s usually best to take the latest XTB/KFC/FT release date then add a few months….  

 

Is a beautiful bot for style but plastic isn't as strong as other toys as XTB and those little ankles are scary as hell for mer,just moving them I fear to break them thinking to plastic.I had bought him because he's the Octane character I love and depict in my collection, but as toy to transform Provider is the one and 'll buy his reissue for this.
Besides Stratotanker face is much more Octane than Unique toys bot that has a lot of details on body and much better feet.
Hope that on this version KFC will improve again their plastic,I had found that first Stratanker was already an improvement on their previous figures.

Same here, but I'm still on the fence about this release. Still no word of improvements beyond some extra faces and a new paint job.

I like the mold, but the truck mode is still too small for my liking...

 

I've got mine paid off at Showz. I've had good eperiences with all of XTB/KFC's rereleases thus far, hopefully the trend doesn't end here.

 

Every XTB release is a gamble it seems.



I am getting this, but mostly so I can check that box. My TF collection drains most of my collecting budget and I've started getting into other things. So the quicker I can get done with seasons 1-2 (what I'm collecting in MP) the better. Oddly still need 2 seekers and 2 coneheads.
