I feel like Octane is the one who needs a redo the least. Blitzwing (to bring him into the modern aesthetic), Broadside and Sandstorm should tee off first.

That was the worst part of Animated; the insistent need to just cram EVERYTHING into it. "Oh RiD Strongarm? Yeah she's here for no reason." The Allspark Almanac is bloated with SO many references that it stops being charming and becomes cringey. It's like Ready Player One.

Yeah, the Allspark Almanac got really dumb really fast impo. I don't really hold that against the show though. Personally I think the three seasons we got did a great job of pulling bits here and there from other continuities without overdoing it while still managing to be it's own thing. The Allspark Almanac is essentially glorified fan fiction... Megatron, Master Megatron, Gigatron... they're all there!   Talk about a bloated mess.

 

I smell jealousy! And besides, LEGO always succeeds whenever Hasbro tries launching new construction set lines to compete with them. So why can’t Hasbro partner with K’Nex instead?

 

Oh no, I'm a LEGO fan through and through. I'm just pointing out that Hasbro is shortsighted and keeps thinking they need to somehow prove that they're better.

its probably gonna be based on his earth mode, but cybertonianized, so maybe something similar to b-127's alt mode but bulkier to accomodate for the robot mode, though i wonder what shockwave's, soundwave's, arcee's and wheeljack's alt modes will be, as arcee has been rumoured by reliable scources on instagram to be a retool/remold of jet shatter

 

That would make a lot of folks happy on the boards. Not sure it fits the theme though. Even so, I wonder if the exclusivity contracts would allow it.

 

knowing hasbro, i dont think they'd want to pass up on an oppourtunity to score another couple bucks, even though us in australia still couldnt get it. though is could also be a set that recreates the shuttle scene from the 86 movie, you know, the one where everyone dies

 

I love the box set idea. Instead of Hound, it'd be a great repack if you included a theoretical SS86 Brawn after its first run.

It's too easy. The 3Ps just shove MM in the back, he doesn't form the chest. Turn that backwards and it's PMOP. The only difference is MM would turn in to a giant bot with posts to plug on new Stunticons.

It's a form of cosmic payback for CW Prime being a Motormaster pretool.

 

Actually wait on the topic of motormaster again, wasn’t there talks that CW motormaster was gonna be completely different from what we got like it had a trailer and everything but was canned due to budget and was just turned into an optimus prime pretool? What if this one is a revival of that original design?
