Those gaps in alt mode look inexcusable, IMHO.

115 needs to do actual QC work before releasing products. This one again looked to have promise but fails again in basic QC checks.

Damn those gaps are a bit much. Mine should be arriving today so hopefully it isn't as bad and it is a QC thing but my guess it isn't which makes me glad they didn't release ratchet yet so maybe we'll get another option from a different company that can do better fit and finish.

It's definitely not ideal, but mine is normally in robot mode, so I'm fine with it.

Yowzers...there's a lot of mess to unpack here.

    1) Being unable to set corporate policy has nothing to do with your ability to be able to do the job you willingly took within the confines of that policy. It's like saying unless I'm given a billion dollars and 10 years to develop a new t-shirt logo, any failure of design was because I was unable to set the parameters for what I needed to complete the job and thus was not my fault.
    2) Do you have statistical proof that production budget is the sole reason any figure ever has had issues?
    3) Of course you didn't say those exact words, you just attack a person for having an opinion that differs from yours. That's attacking the speaker and not the argument.
    4) If you are going to speak from an assumed position of authority on the inner workings of business and figure production, at least stick to using some actual facts as your proof and reasons for authority, rather than your sole proof being to constantly tell others they need to educate themselves which means absolutely nothing, and is just you avoiding the issues by once again...attacking the speaker.

Obviously, I think it's a bit of corporate policy and a bit of design decision, but I'm able to see things from both sides, whereas you saw an opinion you didn't like, got emotional and drew a line in the sand. You continue to push the X is 100% guilty argument even though you know it's nonsensical, but you simply don't want to back down from your over-emotional first response because it's very important you are proven right about your opinion on kids toys purchased by adults.

Once again, these are kids toys produced by employees who are paid to do a job, by a corporation whose job it is to produce product for consumption. These are not labors of love created by artists working for free for a company staffed by your friends and family looking out for your best interests. Have some perspective and don't take things so personal bro.

So mine arrived, color match is better than expected fit and finish is exactly as described. My good friend Mr X-acto did some work to the rear of the roof and now the gab is more like a regular Hasbro factory gap which I can totally live with. I also removed the stupid sliver of black paint Hasbro put on the rear window. Like for fuck sakes save the paint budget because with or without this kit that black strip of paint looks stupid

In reference to the gap, which part of rear part of the roof did you shave off?

I wish they'd make a Rachet set available already. This set looks pretty great, gap aside.

The rear portion that is being pushed up by the feet(rear window bottom section), you could achieve what I did with a knife by just sanding it a bit too.

okay, this is what I’ve got...and please forgive my very average photography skills. 35CE383F-B13B-4A03-BC7B-20AB21281878.jpeg 50FBC251-0987-48A2-93FC-988CF39A1AC3.jpeg 996531DB-D976-4FE9-8405-32DFEBABD2F4.jpeg C1636774-2DFD-49B4-8D3E-A3E2990CFAB8.jpeg
As best I can tell, there is a very slight height difference, with the 115 kit adding a smidge more height. The pics aren’t great, but there is a difference.
(Don’t know why the photo with Earthrise Ratchet didn’t show up full image).

I ordered a pair for myself off eBay, but I'm concerned my ER Ironhide's legs might be messed up, I tried ordering a different set of 3D-printed third party feet months before and the right foot would just not want to attach properly.

Getting another ER Ironhide at this point is pretty much impossible too.

Yeah, I got corrected near the start of the thread. Fair play to you for having the skills to do so. Any chance you could also release a version with 5mm ports?
