Thanks. The carving is super fast with a hotwire foam cutter. I did a few multi-task projects to put it all together. Now re-working the tree and adding more shrub details.

On the recommendation of Yankee0, ( Thanks again ;) ) I figured I'd post a link to my G1 Ark WIP thread over in the customs section. I love the creativity, ideas and dioramas everyone has shared here. Keep them coming!

So was finishing sanding around the ark door when i realized i had room for a little "home improvement" extension..also added base around the mountains..that will make sense when you all see the finished product 0506211630.jpg 0506211631.jpg 0506211641.jpg

Nice! That's one thing I wish I could have done with mine was to make that shape of an entrance to the tunnel. It's definitely more animation accurate. Can't wait to see your diorama when it's finished, it's off to a great start!

Those mountains look superb old chap, definitely wish I had gone that route instead of covering actual rocks with modelling clay (I am in a rush to get this finished and move on to the next idea...).

I did however finally remember to take some night time photos of the fire effects, and I am rather pleased. A simple bit of wiring (which is set up for an easy conversion from battery pack to 12v mains for when I find a permanent spot for this), some cotton wool and a bit of paint produces quite a dramatic effect:

And its not a diorama (yet) but speaking of things that look better when LED'd up...

And rocks done! Now just a few little props to paint when some new paint finally arrives and then put it all together!

Cheers guys, that is much appreciated!

No, although having looked at that EpicToys one it is pretty awesome! Mine is similar, but subtlely different:

This one was my first ever repaint of anything Titan sized, the LEDs being a bit of an afterthought.

All right, It is very cool looking now that I see the full version. EpicToys version had me thinking of doing like he did, repaint in metallic paint and adding LED's. Also I've been thinking of doing a second in Black, Gold, Red and renaming him Nemesis. Big reason for not doing so was BBTS suddenly changed the price from the low it had been at back to a higher price. I don't want to break my Trypticon when they where going for $85.00 + S&H.
