No one, has EVER, started a conversation with me. And when I try to talk to people, they dismiss me fairly quickly. I guess I just lack the charisma. But hey at least I get the attention of sad guys on discord. I can help them with their problems and they seem to find me nice and quite a good listener and helpful person. Until they start confessing to me, wich I decline and suddenly they never talk to me again. Seems like i truly lack any charisma. Well I'm gonna wait and end up adopting some kids so that I wont live the rest of my life alone. Or I'll just die.

Oh and small thing, I hate Vanilla Coke, it's so bad, why was it created.

I was almost electrocuted early today. My hand bumped into metal connected to a power outlet at work and the electricity caused the muscles in the arm to spasm, keeping me in place as the current traveled into my body.

I was so angry I was almost in tears before it even happened. But afterwards it was like I was in a trance. I couldn’t tell if I was just emotionally destroyed or if my brain was scrambled by the electricity. I left to come home early and not only does my arm feel like shit, I’m just not in a happy mood.

 

That's shocking.

My right foot is broken and my both my arms have a broken bone, its still healing but it f*cking hurts and I have this headache that's been bothering me for over 3 weeks

I get angry glares from my father when I wear one of my TF shirts. Of which I have and wear many. He also punished me when I was a teenager back in the 80's by stealing my TFs. Tho I did get them back a few weeks later, it was on top of the shit sandwich that was my cat (that the rest of the family despised because she loved only me) getting lost...which he really didn't give a shit about.

And now, judging by the smells that come through my vents every night, there is a meth lab either above or below me. I have given tips to the police detective who's responsible for my building, but judging by the ammonia smell tonight there hasn't been anything done. Probably because me trying to pinpoint the apartment exactly would only tip off the meth heads, so I've just given him my guesses.

Last week my 33 year old NES pooped out. I bought another at Amazon for $123. Monday I got an email that my money was refunded because the NES i bought was out of stock. -.-

I found a better condition and half the price NES that should arrive on Monday. I'm ready to return it if it messed up as well.

Now for recent events:

Last Saturday and Sunday my lower back was killing me and my mom took me to the grocery store sunday to buy things I needed to make a soup for my dad. The whole time I couldn't stand up straight. Just hunched over until I attempted to crack my back and at that moment I felt some relief and continued my purchase.

As i woke up this morning, the pain returned and again it's killing me. I tried to crack my back again but no luck.

I tried to see a doctor in March but I missed my appointment through no fault of my own and was rescheduled for the 18 this month. I don't know how I'll last that long. Plus I can't do my exercises which is bumming me out.

Though I have maintained my weight in the 262 range.

I also can't cook because of the pain. Can't stand up for long.

 

Not interested in the mini version? Thought that had almost the entire library on it.

 

I do have a mini and some have hacked it to add more since it only has 30 games and I'm not that good on doing such things. My physical collection is almost twice as much.

 

While I'm still ecstatic that I managed to win a free MP44 from BBTS, that feelings is being undermined by the fact that I allowed myself to get excited all week because I was finally going to get to buy a couple Billy's from Ikea this weekend and they managed to sell every one that had before I could get there.

 

I feel miserable and embarrassed that I can't even get out of bed to go to the bathroom with this pain in my back.

I wanted to go to McDonald's for a biscuit but I could barely stand. I'm hunched over and I had to ask my dad who has osteoarthritis to buy the biscuit for me. He took my money and got me 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuit. My favorite.

This pain sucks.

 

So earlier this week my water heater broke and flooded my entire basement. I live in a bungalow so the basement is 50% of the living space, and it's where almost all my collection is. Luckily no items got damaged, everybody's up on shelves, but the basement itself is trashed. All the carpet had to be ripped out, the walls are going to have to be redone, just everything is gone except the laundry room and furnace. It didn't quite reach all the way to one side, but the basement is from the 70's and has wood panel walls and the water ran behind them, so we don't really know where exactly it reached. (a mercy killing if you ask me, those walls were hideous  )

But now I have to begin the long process of packing everything up. Some of it is easy, like anything Lego can be just thrown in a box and if it falls apart meh just fix it later, but I'm struggling to pack my vintage G1 guys and my Gundam models since they're delicate. Mostly the latter, and of course most of my TFs don't have boxes of their own so I have to try and be careful there, too. And there's so freaking much.

This is really a moment where I just wish I could snap my fingers and have everything packed away. Tedium is my kryptonite. Of course if I had that power I'd skip packing and just fix the basement itself. I have no idea how long that will take, and what the end result will spell for my collection display. I have this old bar on one side I use for displaying Gundam models, but when it comes time to renovate will I replace that? It has plumbing in it, so I can't just tear it out and leave that exposed. I'm assuming insurance will give me as little as possible so I also have to be mindful of how expensive that might be either way, since it'll likely be out of my own pocket.
This is just a draining situation, though I suppose it could be worse. My coworker had a similar problem, only it wasn't her water heater, it was her septic line.   Also the water removal guys (who are amazing) loved my collection and took pics to show their kids which is always cool, and the guy who replaced the tank said we were lucky it didn't explode. Apparently that model just kind of does that sometimes, and apparently this awful rattling/whining noise we've been hearing when it comes on is a sign it was under pressure. Now the new tank makes no noise at all. I've seen videos where water heaters blow and I guess I should be thankful this happened instead.

 

Sorry to hear this. I had a hot water heater fail a few years back, with that familiar whistling sound of "hey, I'm on my last legs". The control unit failed & the water tank warranty just expired by about 6 months.

I don't understand why the USA has hot water heaters inside the home. I've seen a few USA reno shows & it's (almost) always indoors.

These units have pressure relief valve to guard against pressure rupture of the water tank. For it to blow up in the videos may indicate this safety feature is not in proper working order.

I'm from Australia & these units are outside the house. Thank goodness.

 

Last Thursday I had to get some money out of an ATM to pay a bill when later on I checked my bank account and found out somebody had skimmed my credit card. Lost 200 dollars but luckily I cancelled it in time before anything else could be done, now im just playing the waiting game and it really sucks, Soon I hope I can get my money back. -_-
