I'd recommend trying to track down Magic Square's Blaster.

 

Its an amazing figure... Newage are doing some great work and its looking like we may get more Marvel comic representations of characters..
The G1 cartoon was a piece of crap.. barely any character development involved, but the comics.. wow.. all the characters had depth.. the storylines were so much more intricate.. its great to get Straxus!

 

We need Newage Scrounge to go with Straxus! But I don't know if they will be able to get his arm right. It's a special arm - there is no other like it.

 

I had The Smelting Pool as a kid, my parents kept all of my transformers comics. Your post made me realize my connection with TF is primarily the 86 movie and the comics.

 

It's sooooo funny when you didn't know you NEEDED something until it was made manifest.

 

I grew up with the UK comics and toys, and didn't see the cartoon until years later. (It's why I've been a bit bewildered in the MP Skids thread. Skids is great! He got a fair bit of comic time.)

 

Its all about that UK comic... soooooo good. Really amazing- in fact this thread makes we want to download a torrent of the entire UK comics run. Finally a reason to own an iPad ahah

I did see the cartoon and liked some episodes (MTMTE, Ultimate Doom), but I kept coming back to the Marvel comics, reading them again and again. After my cat completely shredded issue 3 and 4 (they were bundled locally), I used tape to restore them and read it anew.

Recently I participated in the re-reading of the US run in the comics part of the forum. Was very enlightening. So many things I had missed in past and interesting points of views from others.

Ha, love it! and i recently went back and bought the NA TMNT set and currently being shipped to me. i'll also be getting Straxus in my next order as well!

 

I wonder how Hasbro's Straxus will compare.
Considering their base mold looks a little more beefy than Newage's he'll probably do that cover of a huge Straxus attacking Blaster justice.

 

Hasbro is doing a Straxus? Haven't seen anything about that in the news forum.

The news might have been hard to find after the usual guys in the "Hey kids! Alcoholism is cool!" thread went hysterical because someone dared to present leaks that another guy presented before him, mods closed the thread, the guy started a new one, same guys went there to pick fights with him, thread got closed too, and another guy started a new leak thread.

 

Yes   I noticed the special cases in the news forum had another meltdown and then a few.
Like that idiot who started insulting you in that other thread today.
There's a lot of people here who get away with anything but play the victim when someone bites back.
Those kinds of people are the scum of the world. But best to treat them as the jokes they are.

Well, this is a site dedicated to self-indulgence after all. Kindergarten behavior and takjng that self-indulgence too far are bound to happen among the majority of visitors.
