The relisted Dia-Battles Red Lightning came in at BBTS while I was typing this. As it's my second to use with Cosmo unit, it will wait in my Loot until some other toys come in.

Yes but make your decision and stick with it. The thin piece of plastic that locks onto the ball can split down the middle if used too much.
Wow, they do that? I’m so reckless with preorders there and I figured they like that kinda thing considering how easy they make it. V-max had a non refundable cost so I’m hoping that doesn’t matter in this case.
Wow... what kind of bullshit is that??? Is this documented somewhere? I've never preordered with them and only buy from them if I can't get elsewhere, but definitely making a mental note if they are secretly penalising customers. Of course I do understand it would be annoying to have people pre-order and then cancel leaving you holding stock, but that's why most places make you pay upfront.
That's why they now require non-refundable deposits on most bigger ticket items, too many were preordering from multiple places and cancelling the slowest. BBTS and TF Source get them much later than others and may have issues with lingering stock. Basically, outside of Asian Pacific region (such as US), the lower the shipping cost, the later they get them... Amazon.jp (international orders), Hobby-link, etc. = high shipping cost, fast delivery. Chosen Prime, 3&Up, etc. = moderate sipping cost, okay speed. BBTS, TF Source = $4 to free shipping, much later...
Speaking of, I decided to preorder a second Gridman Universe Battle Suit from Amazon.jp, so I'm not getting my first one months after everyone else. Cost a bit more, but after V-Max that I hope to see some day, that's what I'm most looking forward to. Love the retro look of that one.
I also bit the bullet and preordered the Gridman set. I only really wanted the powered suit, but kinda wanted the little Gridman character Dianaut and from there it was just automatic to get the three which shows how well conditioned Takara has me... there's a chance I might be pleasantly surprised by the Gridman figure(s) but not holding my breath. Might be the first set I sell.
The Gridman stuff actually pulled me back into Diaclone. Up until now I was mainly picking up the occasional Dianaut sets. I like that with Gridman I can repurpose the Dianauts as Compoids, who are the rarely seen inhabitants of the Computer World in the original 90s show. Am hoping to pick up Battle Convoy V-Max. Think it will go well with Gridman since it looks as much like God Zenon as he does Convoy. I have a Warudros Soldier Type 1 on order but I’m not sure what else I might go for from this line right now. Would maybe like to get a Battle Buffalo eventually.

My Red Lightning Cosmo came in today! It's pretty good fun and looks really good despite the red's being mismatched. Plus Battle Buffalo gets wings!
