I love these silly little stop-motion videos. The actual animation is really clean, even if I find some of the emojis to be a bit much (did they really need the flexing emoji when Cyclonus was...flexing his biceps?). While the ending we got was funny, I was expecting Hot Rod to use the guitar as an axe while fighting Cyclonus, and that was what was gonna push sales to the max. But I guess the only thing that sells more than violence is sex appeal.

This was more like a challenge aimed towards Cybertronic Spree.

That was some silky smooth stop motion animation. Also, who would've thought the shortest way to a Transformer's heart is through a C-F chord progression.

It's funny, I know alot of the products I use come from China and that it's hypocritical on my part, but seeing the words Hasbro and China together makes me a little bit sad.

I liked it. The emojis are still there, but the addition of some vocal sounds helps

They were proving whose the better salesbot

Arcee wanted to sell the guitar, in live commerce style.
So asked both Cyclonus and Hot Rod to perform using the guitar, and they both sucked. So in the end Arcee did it herself and sold out soon.

Me: *Sees Kingdom & Studio Series in title, and can't tell right away from thumbnail which bots are in it* Oh sweet maybe they'll stop motion Kingdom Rodimus' transformation so I can finally see how the arms end up in their bot mode orientation!

Hasbro: Studio Series Hot Rod only in this video.

Why is Megatron the tiny version, rather than the Siege or Earthrise version?

That was fun. I wonder if there’s merit to maybe a future Rodimus using a guitar as a primary weapon. Like an incarnation that plays up the goofy 80’s theme.

What was it with all the weird chinese characters starting to swim through the screen?  And what was Arcee selling? Her music?

Maybe as an advertisement for the most recent product. It is a good looking version of Megatron, and the silver paint looks great.

The video was created by the Chinese branch of Hasbro hence the messages/subtitles, etc in Mandorin (or possibly Cantonese depending on the region).

My understanding was that Arcee was trying to sell the guitar. The two boys failed to showcase it, so she had a go herself and was successful. (I actually preferred the lads music but, anyway.)

Techincally good, but utterly dumb, just like the last one. Well guess these days you cater the social media audience.

I know some Japanese video streaming sites, like Nico Nico, will have viewer comments scroll past the video in a similar way. I dont know about China but that's what I interpreted it as

Hot Rod’s legs were mistransformed for the video, but it’s not anything bad. Aesthetically it looks fine. It invokes the G1 toy like that, and doesn’t hinder anything. I go back and forth with that configuration on my figure all the time

Yep, it's the same on BilliBilli, which is China's Niconico equivalent, as well. I don't know how anyone can watch videos/streams like that, particularly for the really popular channels, but I guess enough of those sites' users like barely being able to see what's happening on screen for it to be a feature.
