Franklin Target this morning. They had no new TFs but did have these. I snagged the Troopers for a buddy but left everything else. We need Rodders and Galvy!

Cool Springs Walmart had Trap Jaw, Orko, Scareglow and Man-E-Faces at 7:53 am this morning. I was tempted to buy them but left 'em all.

That looks fun...I wish I had that much space to display stuff! Here’s what I have on display...it’s mostly non-TF at the moment...

The black shelves are IKEA klingsbo display cabinets. They are all-around larger than detolfs and have one more shelf. The only thing I don’t care for are the feet...they splay outward and prevent you from being able to place them right up against one another. That might not be a dealbreaker, but it is something to consider. I like them, though, and they are pretty solid.

Fun fact: That Mickey was one of my very first toys EVER! Somebody bought him for me at the hospital gift shop when I was born.

Hey everyone, I'm planning on making a trip to Tennessee over memorial day weekend and I wanted to know if there were any toy stores you'd recommend.

Okay. Around Nashville you have a few possibilities. I40 exit 199 heading west out of Nashville is a place called McKay's. It's a used book and music store, but they also have electronics, TV shows/movies, video games, and some toys. They even have boxes of comic books upstairs along with the music. On the toy side, Transformers are more of an occasional find, depending whether anybody's sold off spares or a collection recently, but I've always found it interesting to go have a look when I'm near there.
There's a comic book store chain called Great Escape, which has two Nashville-area locations. The Charlotte Ave one is near McKay's, and the other is the Madison location on the far north side of town. I like that one a little better, but it is a bit of a drive to get there.
On the south side, there's a couple of places in the Cool Springs/Brentwood/Franklin area. The Outer Limits is in the Watson Glen shopping center in Franklin. It's on the small side, but they pack a pretty good toy inventory in there.
The other is Starbase 1552 on Cool Springs Blvd. The prices vary from surprisingly good to "well, this was interesting to look at..." but it's worth stopping in if you're near that area.

Now mind, you will spend an entire day if you try to visit all of these places cause they are spread well apart from each other. I definitely recommend giving McKay's some time at the very least. There may be other places downtown and over on the east side, but these are the ones that I personally know and get out to from time to time.

I’ll have to check out some of those places the next time I blow through there! I have been to Starbase before...don’t think I’ve tried any of the others.

I wasn't expecting such a detailed response, Thanks a ton man! I definitely wouldn't have seen these without your help. I'll do some research and see which stores I can fit into my trip. I probably wont be able to make a whole day out of store hopping cause I'll have company but I'll try to make it out to McKay's.
