WWE is teaming with Crunchyroll to produce its own anime series featuring the WWE Superstars. So far no information on the plot or which Superstars will be in it.

This could be good if the animation is top notch and treated like a sports/fighting anime.

 

No.

 

Better than them developing another installment of The Marine.

 

The Undertaker anime form!

 

If this doesn't result in some kind of crossover with Kinnikuman I'm gonna be seriously disappointed.

 

They'll save so much money when it comes time to animate John Cena.

 

(making a noise to mimic a bomb being dropped and exploded) Yeah, this ain't going to end well.

 

This could be some goofy entertainment stuff like the Rock and Roll Wrestling show, or the Kinnikuman show.

Or they could play it straight, like the classic wrestling show Tiger Mask. (There is a wrestler named Tiger Mask, who was created from that show)

I'll need to hear more about this to know if it's going in a direction I think I could like.

 

Well, no matter what this is an interesting development  

 

I wish Tiger Mask was more popular in the States, always seemed like a fun franchise.

 

When more details are revealed, I’ll give this anime a shot.

Their ratings has gone down the toilet, so they now decide to do what all the kids are doing!

 

I haven’t followed wrestling since the early 2000’s. IMO, the 80’s or Attitude eras would be the only eras worth cartooning.
