I'd be completely fine with a titan class Tidal Wave and faux parts to combine with Megatron

 

So was it discussed at all about maybe changing the horns to be more accurate to the show or toys?

Everything I've been onboard with except how they look. They're just too off.

 

people asked the same thing about Prime's super mode ears. FansHobby did listen and give us extra ear pieces that are more screen accurate. I think if you ask enough they will listen.

 

How long in development did FH make the alternate horns? Cause since this guy is expected to come out in Q4 of this year it may or may not be too late for enough people to hit FH up on it or else it might be an upgrade piece.

 

Around this stage of development I think. I personally am fine with the horns as is and really hope we get more news on the guy soon

 

Yeah I like the horns here as well. The only upgrade I want really from FH for their Armada stuff so far would probably be Naval Commander's core bot head. It's a good head, I'd just like if they made one with an altered face and eye area to make it more accurate.

 

Sharper mouthplate and a blue face rather than the gray, that's mostly what it's missing. Some trim around the gold on his crest maybe, not sure how much that varied between shots and toys

 

I think it was around this stage as well. Prime was also supposed to come out in winter but then it didn't. so there is probably still enough time for them to include extra horns if they feel we want it.

 

The silver frame on the gold crest is only on Mortal Combat Optimus Prime, though I think it also appeared in some errors. It was pretty consistently blue. The screencaps you showed are just very good 'shops from Mortal Combat.

Where'd you see that date?? I'm not doubting, just curious since I haven't seen any updates in a long time on this guy.

They said that the targeted date is Q4 of 2021, meaning this guy will be a great (possibly early) Christmas present.

 

I love what they’ve done, however I fear this thing is going to win awards for its remarkable back-heaviness… or it’s ability to defy physics and easily balance that bfg…

Naval Commander's trailer treads were already super satisfying to roll.
This guy is going to be awesome.

 

It looks so damn good... but I just can't trust them yet, not after Prime's disastrous releases.

 

I've had zero issues with my batch 2 Prime after I loosened the leg, and their reissues that came out before and their Nightbeat that came out after Naval Commander shows they're back on track.

I'm really excited to see what they have.
