the gold ko has been gone for a long time

 

So I ordered a chrome one recently and got the "hasbro" version (2nd i guess). i knew it was probably what i'd get but was hoping for the "takara" colors one. as is i am not sure i'd display it. in most lighting the red looks...pinkish or purple-ish almost shattered glassy looking under certain light. anyway, i don't think i'll be displaying as is...which brings me to my backup plan for this guy (which i should have researched first but figured it was doable)...using his chromed thighs and hips to make a "toy" g1 prime. my questions are 1. how easy are these things to take apart? 2. has anyone mixed and matched pieces from these KOs with either a legit takara or the "bulk takara" version KO (different maker than other KOs it seems based on the "navel" difference someone pointed out and different plastic quality)?

 

Which trailer works with these simplified?
