for megatron it'll probably be either armada like you said or transmetal

for optimus it's hard to say, i highly doubt they're doing another g1 prime with trailer so maybe they will do a tfp prime and do something similar to ss86 hotrod.

also im curious if leaders will actually remain at $50 or if those are just placeholder prices

Considering how long I've seen local Target pegs empty of anything but unpopular Target exclusives, I'm not so sure I'm wrong. I remember back in the day, when Target's pegs were filled with their exclusive Transformers Prime figures and they were getting no Fall of Cybertron/Generations figures because they had so many of that bloody griffon beast bot. There might just be something about being stuck in KY where we're not getting regular stock, but it seems like product shelf-warming is definitely contributing to newer products not arriving.

I'm going to say this as nicely as I can: Multiple people who work in the retail industry, including management, are telling you that how you think it works isn't how it works. At all.

One line does not affect another line when it comes to product arriving in stores. Target, Wal-Mart, all of them don't have some giant vat of figures and they just pull a lever and whatever pops out is shipped. Nor do the works at the stores go "Huh, we have a ton of this line... don't order more of this other line that is selling really well!"

The reason you can't find a well-selling and high demand figure is because... it is selling well and is in high demand.

    I'll explain again.

A brand is broken down into price point and line. So, we have Kingdom Scout, Kingdom Deluxe, Kingdom Voyager, and Kingdom leader. We have Buzzworthy Deluxe, Buzzwothy Scout, and the larger figures. Studio Series Deluze, Voyager, and Leader. Cyberverse Warrior and Commander... you get the idea.

Each one of these price points has the figures in said price point get grouped together as a PID (Product Information Distribution), Let's use Kingdom... every deluxe has its own UPC but these UPCs are all grouped together under the same PID. So you have let's say 2 Cheetors, 2 Black Arachnias, 2 Paleotrex, and 2 Warpaths. You sell a Cheetor... the UPC balance on hand goes down by one and the PID total goes down by 1... you have 7 deluxe figures. When the PID number drops to a certain level the warehouse is contacted automatically to send more figures.

Buzzworthy or studio series has NOTHING to do with this. They aren't connected. Thinking they are would be like me saying, "We can't get more milk ordered until we sell this patio furniture!"

Now, here is the issue with Kingdom: Everyone is contacting Hasbro for more. Wal Mart, Amazon, Bigbad, Target, some Krogers and Meijers and Kohls. So on. Everyone is asking for them. And hasbro sends out where they can but sometimes they can't. Maybe another store sold out sooner so they got all of Wave 2. Maybe they have an agreement with Wal-Mart that they get a certain amount and need to honor that, so on. There are plenty of reasons. Shipping is also insane right now thanks to covid. And then you have the warehouses. Target, Wal-Mart... they try very hard to ship out to everyone at roughly the same time so to avoid the K-Mart effect that one store is always behind on new releases. So a warehouse might sit on product even if a store is requesting it until they have enough for everyone OR enough stores are requestings.

"But why is Buzzworthy able to come in so easily?" you ask. Because Target agreed to buy a certain amount so they already have that in hand, at the warehouse. The reverse is also true... if Target screws up and doesn't order enough of an exclusive... they are done. The contract said so much and that was all that was made and getting replenishment can cost more because usually such contracts have a kicker built in that if you request more (showing that a line is successful) the toy company gets more money from the replenishment.

So in conclusion: One line does not affect another. At all. You can look at the empty pegs for one line and full pegs for another and believe what you want... it doesn't change reality.

(And before anyone says it... yes, low sales for a line can cause FUTURE restock of an entire brand to be decreased but that isn't what is being claimed here)

Let me just say that even though Cyberverse is shelfwarming at some of my local Walmarts, I still see some Kingdom from time to time.

The only thing I can think to add, is that this can change based on the planogram at a particular store. They will only change the layout so often, so any larger item (Leader, Commander) that doesn't fit on the currently apportioned shelves may not be carried at Target locations of a particular size as they don't have the space to even flex shelve it.

Got a update for you all. @Black Convoy

Road Rage is the also a Timed Red Card Exclusive. Edit: It’s a permanent Target exclusive in the U.S. The form of payment method is what is timed, for clarification.

Unless there’s a stock buyback or future reissue that is solicited to fan channels at a future date after the exclusively deal expires.

Tra Gen RED Card Deluxe Road Rage
(This is her internal product title)

    EAN: 5010993874699
    Release: November 1st, 2021

Well then. At least she's only timed. I'm not too worried about grabbing her, though she's definitely a much bigger priority for me than T-Wrecks.

In the U.S. Road Rage is going to be in a Similar situation as T-Wrecks.

Both exclusive to Target, and both Target Credit/Debit card exclusives for a limited time before stock will be open for purchase by non red card holders. Hence the the term “Timed red card exclusive”

On the bright side, at least these have a limited window for being Redcard locked
