I was going to get this even if I already have the FE Arcee and APC's Prime and Megs.

But the paint issues give me pause, I hope APC will release a version 2 like what they did with Prime to address the paint issues.

Bare pink plastic instead of painted? Why isn't the original version not like this?

 

That works a little better. Deeper pink. Still doesn't work great for her.

 

Could be over-exposed picture. Let's wait for an in-hand picture

 

I wonder when they'll get around to making Bumblebee,

I also wonder if they would be willing to do more obscure repaints, Like FE Bumblebee as Jazz or the TFCC Rampage

 

Pink was ugly the first time, and it's ugly now.  

 

Bumblebee is not my favourite character. Depending on what changes APC will apply on BBb, otherwise I will just wait for shadow strike repaint

Was told that APC is working on Soundwave, not sure how true it is

really would like to pick this up. but even from the photos/videos, you can tell the paint quality isn't good at all.  

 

The paint looks good to me. But the paint chipping turns me off. I am gonna wait for 2nd batch

 

Just in case, the splotches in my picture are from another light source in my room.

In hand the paint is glossy and smooth. But yes, it is prone to chipping as others have reported. I may hit it with a can of topcoat someday.

 

Bababobo00712 has a price now for the pink version and has it listed as "will arrive" which means it should be in stock soon.

$34.99 and that's much more palatable.

Bit Disappointed that its a straight KO, not much ameliorations... oh and those super loose joints. Although the PAINT is marvelous, it chips easily.

The pink version is not bad. Joint is tighter than the metallic version and paint is better

 

Has there been any hints that this line will continue with new molds? Knowing the rest of the cast is coming would go a long way to pushing me off the fence on this one.
