Pearl Jam crossover. Nothing as it seems.

 

Somehow I feel that it's most likely neither.

Speaking of Project Bat, will it be a new mold or a retool of another figure like Generations G1 Headmaster Mindwipe?

 

I believe we're 3:1.5 on these being remolds-vs-new molds, so far right?
(BTTF/Xmen/Jurassic Park are remolds, Maverick is new.... Ectotron I put in a weird grey area, it shared a few parts, but I believe was mostly new and the transformation scheme totally different then the molds the shared parts were from?

 

Unlikely they'll use a mold from over 5(?) years ago.
A Terrorsaur retool perhaps.

 

Rumor is it's a retool of Mindwipe.

 

Ectotron shared about as many parts as X-Spanse.

 

If only. I mean, there is that Netflix series coming soon...

It seems like it'd be really hard to make a good transformer out of the Swordfish since there's not a lot of mass there to work with, but I'd still love to see them try. And it might open the door up to other anime collabs like Speed Racer or Initial D.

 

is X-Spanse(holy crap.i hate that name)'s transformation scheme all new as well? I haven't compared them thoroughly...

I guess I assumed they shared more parts since they're based on the same planes  

 

surprisingly just two jet mode panels and the inner torso mechanism are held over.

 

I realize now I hadn't done due diligence, just read "Xspanse is a jet fire retool" and I discliked the look so much of him that I never really went any deeper on paying attention to it.

(still wish it'd been the Jim Lee era forward-swept-wing Blackbird since so much of what they did with the costumes is based on that era)

 

Mindwipe is also a mold that just released again this year
