Yeah, feels like I'm used to asking this sort of question but considering the amount of money involved it's not an easy purchase for me -even with my budget handling it well so some times a purchase like this I need a little bit more convincing.

 

As my first Titan I bought Omega Supreme for two reason the bot mode is really imposing and alt mode is wonderful accurate to what was back in g1 cartoon.
As for scorponok i preordered black zarak i think the color scheme is more of my liking.
The other titan are absolutely not an opto. For me cuz in my country the only option is to import them ans tripticon, devastator or fortress cost 350 euro plus customs and metroplex i only found a takara one going for over 600 euro.

 

It depends on what you value in a figure.
I would argue that, in terms of quality, scorpion and omega are equal. For every con one has, it also has a redeeming quality. Scorponok has greater knee articulation than omega, but omega is more stable, Omega's base mode has more moving parts, but scorponok has more modes, countdown is kind of lame, but zarak is only a factor in base mode. Ultimately, it breaks down to what do you value more. Scorponok's claws give him excellent play value, complimented by exceptional articulation, though the character lacks consistent media presence. Omega, by contrast, exudes star power, and is the perfect representation of the character for legends, classics, generations and (debateably) mp scales, but isn't as fun a toy as scorponok.
If you're looking for a character, go omega, if you're looking for an action figure, go scorponok

 

Well made what I need about 90% from Sales today to cover Omega, BBTS still has Scorponok on Pre-Order for next month so I'll probably get Scorponok in June.

Still need to get some more sales, working on letting the collection pay for itself this month using profits from sales to cover new additions.

-This has worked very well over the past few years when it's an expensive item and getting sales is pretty easy on my side of things so hoping by next weekend should have sold more and made enough to cover Omega fully with sales.

Then work towards making sales to cover Scorponok.

$150+ Items are a difficult choice to me because of the amounts involved with paying that much for a single item.

I love that Omega to me is a solid character and a fav of mine so I know I'm getting Omega.

Scorponok is that "Looks super awesome." Character to me with the play options for that one it's very appealing but I feel like both of these Titans are the ones that if I pass on them they'll go up in price and then I won't be able to get them.

When something hovers around the $150-$160 price range that's a debatable purchase to me.

 

The only ones I don’t have are Metroplex or Scorponok (which I have on preorder) I was unemployed when Metroplex was released, but I lost interest in getting it after Fortress Maximus. They all have flaws. Trypticon and Omega Supreme have the best base modes. They are also both imposing display pieces.

Trypticon’s common quality control flaws are easily fixed. The hardest one to fix is the warped chest cover. I added magnets to keep it in place when in dinosaur mode. He does take up a lot of shelf space because of its tail, though. The legs could’ve been used better in alt mode. The connection points don’t really make much sense, nor are the ends of the legs properly supported.

Omega’s flaws, in my opinion, are the ramps that are partially obstructed by his feet in alt mode. The alt mode also seems
like an incomplete launch base. The rocket just stands there, without arms to secure it. The inside doesn’t have details scaled to any figure. I guess they’re just hangars. And, the opening calves seem to serve a nonspecific purpose either. You also have some areas that are so thin, they are translucent. The rocket doesn’t have a loading ramp.
