Got this guy today, love the metallic finish. I prefer him with the shoulder pads off to see the car door wings better. Really nice tolerances.

What's the blue foil wrapped thing that came in the box? I'm loath to rip it open. A baseball card as per usual?

And Night Assassin also had a card if I remember correctly, don't own the figure to check.

Expecting Kailaite also to have a card.

'Cause he's awesome. Slightly clunky alt, but the bot mode and his shiny metallic finish are beautiful. The Wheeljack-Hound-Bluestreak-Mirage foursome are a fantastic posse.

 

Be warned, his joints are scary tight due to the extra paint. I did a light sanding on the ball joints and now he's nice and smooth. Didn't effect the looks at all

 

Yah, this guy was a lot of people's first sampling of the Datsun Bros mold; mine included. He was always gonna be a bit more popular than a regular IF release, imho.

 

I jumped on Blue Flash because I always thought the blue look on the Datsuns looks beautiful, but I don't buy repaints, and my MP Datsun is Prowl.
But this little guy? This one has finally scratched that itch to get a blue Bluestreak. I love his wild chunky bot and he's super pretty, but his car is kinda crap.

 

Does anyone have the Prowl for sale?

A quick post with just some thoughts of mine. I have been toying with the idea of a repaint/remold MTMTE Rung using Iron factory DJD Vox and Kaon pieces (i think the only piece tha would be missing are the torso and the head).
From this idea i stumble to another idea :

How about a repaint/remold of the IF datsuns blue streak/prowl for a MTMTE Skids
A small tweek on the bumper section, the feet with the wheels on the heels and a new head. A redesign of the fore arms canon and shoulder canon and I think that would work.


What do you guys think?
The more I think about it the more I think it works but maybe because I want it to work^^ because i am trying to build a lost light crew shelf in legends scale
