Hasbro really doesn't help the collector who look for scale.
I at the moment decided to go with the mpms for the big bots (Optimus, Ironhide and Ratchet) and Decepticon (Megs, Starscream) and try to find the old Deluxes for the carbots (Bee, Barry, Sideswipe and so on). With this mix of Hasbro figures, 3rd party and OS kos I can almost get a complete collection of the first 3 movies, and also have some figures I doubt we will ever get (mpm twins and sisters, sideways, jolt).
I wasn't into TFS at the time the movies came out so I don't know if I'll find all the figures I'd want. Some of them are really rare now (Alien Attack Firage, for example, is nowhere to be found at the moment IMG_20210423_211313_340.jpg IMG_20210423_211313_364.jpg IMG_20210423_211313_354.jpg )

The cool about this scale is that Ironhide would have some chance, be an equal to Starscream, what doesn't happen in the movie

No they don't. Have you seen Leader Class dotm Bumblebee? He isn't much shorter than MPM Prime. DAMN, he's even so big for OS BMB Optimus
The only company that gives that sweety accurate scale is/was Wei Jiang. Hasbro sometimes makes small robots so big bcs kids always like bigger figures more, so they may sell more and then with the mpm line they don't make the big boys big enough (Megatron, Ironhide, Optimus and Starscream)

I'm not sure, but I think your Ratchet may be so big
And man, you need WJ MPM Megatron, this one doesn't scale right

My MPM scale uses the official MPM-3 Bumblebee as a benchmark (he's 16ft tall and the MPM is 16cm so roughly 1cm is 1ft). Hasbro scales the carbots correctly but everyone else is small. Weijiang (Black Apple) was following this scale too.

I know. I guess all their figures are in right scale. I'd have loved if they had finished their Ironhide and an OS Starscream
But do you know what would be good? If someone started KOing BA Prime and continue their work in making the right scale. It's what everyone wants, the damn right scale

That's why I specified that I collect the old deluxes, not leaders. Deluxe Bumblebee (Battle Blade Bumblebee in my case) scales quite good with mpm-4 mpm-6 mpm-11. Leader Classe Bee is definetly enormous.

In carmode I think it will be decent. that said Alternators are quite blocky, I would put a G1-ish Prime with those personally.
    Moviebots look way more mechanical

I would go Mpp10, it has a blocky altmode as well.
No idea if it scales right trough,
I collect movietoys only. You should ask around by people who have alternators to get a right scale comparison.

    returning to Bayverse scale trough..
Anyone know what Beetle Bumblebee would scale well with these boys?

it should be 16.5 cm in beetle-mode (6.5 inch)

I was scaling Optimus, Tlk Megatron and Starscream, using Starscream as my ruler, and I'm not sure if it's right
    PhotoGrid_Plus_1652401687282.jpg PhotoGrid_Plus_1652401851123.jpg PhotoGrid_Plus_1652400727757.jpg
In the next one Optimus is a little bigger, bcs he was seeming to be bigger than Megatron and way too bulky next to Starscream
    PhotoGrid_Plus_1652400281666.jpg
It was based in the cut I made from this chart:
    IMG_20220512_183324.jpg
I didn't zoom anything, I just put both side by side. Starscream isn't much wider here and they are the same height, with Starscream on his flexed pose

I'm here for robot scale, after all I display my figures as robots, not vehicles / beasts / jets / cuboids.

I keep transforming mine, right now they're almost all in vehicle mode. I prefer alt mode scaling because I figure aliens can come in all sizes, but the alt modes are based on real world items that we can actually measure.

Back in the day when the bay verse toys first came out in 2007. I loved how much bigger each robot toy was in each size class.

The leader class was simply a work of art. With Leader class Ironhide on the top of my list.

Think the SS toy line further improved on then leader class with gems like. SS AOE leader Grimlock. SS leader class DOTM Megatron. SS leader class Jetfire.

MP TF 6 Optimus was simply a work of art.
