Im guessing Pulse is still in disarray because of trying to ship out Unicron. I ordered wave 2 deluxes last friday minus Arcee and they had still not shipped as of today. I called on lunch break only to be told they they are on backorder? They were IN Stock when I bought them. Well apparently just because they showed that, didn't mean they actually had them. The warehouse supposedly told them they didn't have ALL the stock yet. So now, they took my cash, I have to wait another 2 weeks. No communication from them at all. I had to call them.

 

Won't be because of Unicron, Unicron didn't ship from either of their warehouses.

 

Yeah true, I guess they are just unorganized then. Maybe I will stop ordering from them again. because this situation is really irritating. I would have been OK if they just fessed up and told me about the backorder, but the fact that I had to call. Not cool. Especially since I chatted online wednesday and that rep didn't say anything about it.

 

That’s for sure. Mine haven’t shipped from any warehouse at all.

Just had a chat with Pulse re: our issue. At the very least we know the Unicrons weren’t lost or destroyed. I have hope in spite of everything.

 

Maybe hasbro pulse oversold this like selling 500 tickets to a 300 seat event and now they are scrambling to cover their ass. The thought of this made me laugh.

In this instance, even if something similar did happen, it would have been that they under-ordered, rather than oversold, since these were supposed to be made-to-order.

 

This would be fine with me because it still means I’m getting one even if it’s late.

If there were LESS Unicrons than anticipated, however, that would be really bad. Not only would we all have to buy aftermarket, the price would shoot up due to a smaller number of available units :x

This thread seems kinda dead lately so I am gonna run with my outlandish conspiracy that hasbro is trying to cover their ass because they didn’t make enough unicron’s. Who is with me?

 

The point I'm making is that no Unicron toys existed when the sales were being done. They were made after the orders had been taken. So if they didn't make enough (that is, "under-ordered" from the factory), THAT's the problem.

The only way "oversold" works is if all those Unicron toys have been sitting on shelves for a year and a half, in contradiction to all those "making of" videos and updates we were getting all that time.
