Thanks for reminding me, I had a lot of grief with this screw on my copies. It was unbelievably tight on all 3 and took forever to get them out without stripping it.

 

No problem. These 3P companies need to realize that if they're going to use these tiny screws, don't tighten the hell out of them. They're so easy to wreck with a few turns of a screwdriver. I'm not exactly pleased I have a couple of cut marks from my Dremel on the plastic now. Maybe I'll try a little heat next time.

 

If the part with the cut marks on yours is the one I’m imagining in my head then at least it’s not in view all the time? Still sucks though. The screws are so fragile.

 

My replacement parts arrived! Was the whole front section of the cab. No cracks on it now and I'm a lot more confident picking it up and playing with it. It didn't come with a replacement super head however and my screw head was stripped to fudge like others have said here so I emailed FH and they said they can send out a replacement screw and super head, but I'll have to cover the cost of shipping going forward, which I'm more than happy to do.

So it seems like as of after first replacement parts are sent, if you have any other issues you can get replacement parts sent out but you just need to cover shipping.

Still really hoping for a Nemesis Prime of the Cab and a Jetfire!

Mine are now suddenly out for delivery today as well (a whole 4 days early)
I’m so so excited to see people getting their parts shipped out and getting them in hand.

It’s been a journey but this thread has been totally great to chat in and give good feedback!

EDIT: Minutes after I posted this I got a knock on the door from FedEx!
I won’t be able to open it up till possibly tomorrow though (received my second vaccine shot yesterday and wow did it kick me down hard)

YESSSS. I'm so excited. I haven't transformed mine out of super mode in 2 months. And only recently handled it to make sure there weren't any cracks in the trailer (so far so good!) So i'm excited to handle him without fear of breaking anything soon.

And I just got my second poke today too! Feel better dude!

That's what made me question it at first. Esoecially since I haven't ordered anything in awhile  

 

Thankfully my fever went down (finally) and got a few minutes to install the new parts. Pictured below are the new parts installed and have no signs of cracking or being overly tight. The upper cab section now moves all the way down to reveal the combined head without feeling it’ll stress!

FH really pulled through here, I’m super happy to finally be able t enjoy this figure!

 

Did they make the head bigger? The proportions for it look much better in this photo for some reason

 

Looks to be the same sized head after comparing it to the original!

 

Apologies for the multiple posts today, I noticed this little piece on the floor after I installed the replacement parts and for the life of me can’t figure out where it goes.

One of these actually got dislodged off mine just yesterday! If they are what I think they are, then they go on the forearms, right beneath the fists, covering up some screws.

 

The fact that for most of us, the entire upper torso is being replaced, gives it a weird ship-of-Thesus conundrum. It's weird that one of the parts that will be replaced is the face! I'm going to give the old upper torso to someone maybe because I don't want to have to throw it away.

Yeah it feels weird to just, have a torso laying around. I’ll probably just keep mine as a backup just in case I need to swap out a tire or something specific down the road.

An absolutely wonderful feeling to know that this guy isn’t going to crack and break into bits now.
The combination process is 100% smoother and I have seen zero cracking issues. The version 2 parts also can connect his chest in combined mode properly!

Finally unboxed mine, noticed some crack in the chest region, but the cracks doesn't seems to look that bad yet. I haven't spot any other major issues on my copy yet.
Other than the small cracks, the figure looks so amazing!!! Best birthday gift for myself so far!!!
