Unicron's little brother has arrived. The first thought that came to mind was, "Wow. Was Armada Unicron always this small?" Lol. It's making me appreciate that we finally have a Unicron bigger than this. Btw, can I just say THANK GOD that Transformers have moved on from twist-tie packaging? I've been at this for 30 minutes and he's still not all the way out. Pretty sure this is even worse than the American release.

Totally as an aside, finger nail clippers have always been a must for me when opening up new TFs, ESPECIALLY back in the twist tie armageddon days.

Your pictures also make me miss having my versions of the Armada mold easily accessible. When I moved three years ago most of my collection had to go in storage. Someday when I have space to display everything like I used to, I can't wait to put all my Unicrons together!

 

Turned out you were right, FedEx just called me and confirmed that I don't have to pay customs. I admit that in the last weeks I was a bit worried for all the chaos after Brexit but in the end going with Kapow was the right choice.

 

i wouldn’t mind if Hasbro did another one at the scale that had full planet mode. There’s no way I can get haslab one on the second hand market at this point.

For those still waiting for Unicron in the USA, I spoke with Kevin at Hasbro Pulse and he informed me that several containers/trailers of packages are all ready to be picked up by FedEx at the distribution center in Chino, California. The implication was that these were ready to go last week.

 

Does that mean they will include a free pair of chinos for the trouble?

 

Unsure, but I told them I won't accept printing instructions if my booklet is missing....lol

Making me want that figure now... (TFCC Ramjet)

 

I was worried when I seen folks not getting tracking orders or getting them after the items arrived. Tuesday I got an email saying it was sent and it arrived today at noon. The agent already had the we missed you sticker in his hand and I am sure he was glad he didn't have to lug this back to the truck. So far no damage that I can see (haven't transformed him yet but the plant mode is great but I wished they would have put the battle damaged face, shuttle and chin in separate bags. First thing I did was grab some sandwich baggies and put each one in its own bag.

It would be nice if they came out with a larger Unicron head that could be hung from the ceiling (give it the option to have metroplex/trypticon eyes and maybe the revenge ship to go with the shuttle.

 

Best news I’ve heard all week. This means that the last of us without Unicron (including BBTS and TFsource buyers) probably don’t have much longer to wait.

My guess is the delay was caused by that nasty port traffic jam near Los Angeles that’s been mucking up shipments for a while. The boat probably got here on time but didn’t have a chance to unload until recently.

 

I think it may have had to do with deciding to send to secondary retailers first.
