TFC Hercules? Those were the days .....

I still have him, gathering dust somewhere.

Ha I wish! I could go broke trying to be a devastator completionist. Still having trouble deciding between magic square and newage. I'm not doing both.

This has probably been asked before, but how do the individual GT bots scale with CHUG toys?

It's funny. Based on the G1 scale chart I feel like the Jinbao Constructicons scale better with MP, while the GB don't scale well with CHUG or MP.

With Devastator either can go well with CHUG or MP since Combiners + Scale = out the window.

Of the KOs out there, which one has them at normal size? I've no interest in oversized stuff, since their individual robot modes are just the right size for my taste.

There's an NBK on eBay right now going for like $150, and I just know thats too good to be true

Get the new GB version, I think it's cheaper than the original and it comes with a golden Megatron.

Whilst the individual bots are a tad on the large side for chug; I think the combined mode sizes perfectly.

I have the Daban 1:1 ko, TFC Hercules and the downsized cw ko; individually, TFC herc bots fit well, but in combined mode he feels small, especially next to siege Jetfire and Grimlock.

    Just bought the Black version.

I am having trouble flipping up Mixmaster's connector piece because the ratchet is incredibly tight. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

If you don't mind, would you be able to post some photos and/or your thoughts on it? I contemplated getting it, but haven't been able to find many photos or video reviews of it.

i used a small screwdriver to insert into the connector and then torque it into place. couldn’t find a better way to do this, honestly, and this is one of the frustrating points of this figure. the ratchet is so tight that the transformation pegs right below it tend to unpeg instead whenever i wanted to bend the combiner knee.

If you do a search on this thread, you'll be able to find impressions from other people who bought it in the past. I am probably just going to combine everything and never take it apart again.

Darn, I am hating this figure already because of the SUPER TIGHT ratchet. It's insanity. Not sure why they think it is a good idea.

i wouldn’t go so far as to say it made me hate it, it’s more of an annoyance than anything else. the rest of the set is pretty solid imo, and in all 3 modes at that. just get yourself a small screwdriver or a metal skewer that won’t bend easily and you should be good to go.

My Gravity Builder came with a little tool to pry out the combiner ports. Does it not come with that anymore?

A spudger is definitely recommended but you should get the nylon ones and not metal. Less chance of breaking.
