That's one of those odd design or "art direction" choices...
Show team: "Should we design kibble on this CGI character? Sure."
Threezero team: "Should we make a copy of that CGI character with the kibble and include it? Sure."

I'm surprised nobody there has thought, "hey, let's make a G1 issue of OP, complete with janky forearms and plugin fists".

Switch out your actors with "Hasbro" and I think you're getting closer.

New photos of Jetfire Prime on Weibo. Not sure why Threezero hasn't shared these themselves but here they are.

Looks like it has great articulation even in this combined mode.

That’s very impressive, given how cluttered that mode is

Impressive. He can even do the engine attack that he does on Megatron.

Oh my god, that was the only one good thing in the whole movie... but I wonder how will affect all those heavy weight to the groins with the pass of time.

I assume it will have a strong Diecast frame, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

    I just preordered mine.

Holy shit he looks phenomenal. I really like the design, and this guy was a also beast to play as in the game.

This thing seems super fragile to me. I can't say for sure as I've never once owned a threezero product. It just... (in my own opinion), it looks super fragile to me.

I could probably throw their DLX Prime at someone and break them, not it. The diecast frames make them insanely well-built. Parts may be fragile, but it’s a $530 premium figure, that happens (I collect Hot Toys).

I own three ThreeZero products, and they are all solid as a brick. I have to assume this will be of equal quality. I don’t think I’d want it to fall off a shelf though!

The vast majority of my collection are Hot Toys as well. To me, ThreeZero is like a weird hybrid of Hot Toys and Bandai’s Soul of Chogokin (another line I collect). ThreeZero has the engineering and very solid feel of a typical (not all) SoC figure, with a paint application that’s on a Hot Toys level. I’m new to ThreeZero in general, but I am *very* satisfied with what I’ve received so far!

I’m the weird guy here who hates Bayverse designs in general, but I want this just because of the combined form. This modern Jetfire looks ridiculously stupid to me on his own, and Jetfire was my favorite Transforner as a kid (G1)! I can say I never have even seen this movie either. Don’t hate me for this, just my weird opinion. :p

Everyone has their things lol. I grew up with Bayverse, so I love these designs. Either way, an INCREDIBLE piece.

The only ones that were on the fragile side were the early Transformer figures (DOTM Premium Optimus, Bee and Megatron). Those were their first crack at Transformer figures years ago and were 100% plastic.

Now all of their Transformer figures are diecast and sturdy as hell. Ton of weight and solid articulation joints. I can throw these figures at someone and it would probably do some serious damage lol

Soundwave alone weighs about 2 pounds.
