It's certainly not the nylon type, but to me it feels fine. Bicep swivel was a touch tight on one of the arms but I never felt like anything was going to snap. IMO if this is the way MS are going material wise I'm good with it. No noticable sprue or stress marks that I can see either.

My photos don't do the colour any real justice either - the red is actually a very nice red, quite bright and doesn't look at all washed out.

    :)

As I saidbin the official thread of Cliff, this figure is exactly the same material as Bumblebee. Completely matt nylon (and flexible), it's coherent because of the small and thin pieces (instead of ABS, probably easy to break).

    Pictures of this beauty!.

Wanted to see how Scorponok looked with the other Decepticons in a display unfortunately I have run out of space! About 20 of my Decepticons just couldn't squish onto my bedside table. I do long for some decent display room. The only other option is to set them all up for pictures on the dinner table but then the light is poor and you spend half the night doing that just to have to pack them all away again ready for the morning 20210428_150019.jpg 20210428_150025.jpg 20210428_150032.jpg

So strange as to me it feels totally different to other figures of their’s like Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, Cyclonus etc.

Feels more solid to me - clearly I need to locate my Bumblebee and compare them as well...

    More pics of MST Cliff.

Unfortunately I noticed a QC issue, it seems that MST lately is using too much heat mounting the pieces. The wrist peg hole is burned, barely appreciable but burned.

You seem to be having so real crap QC luck with your figures at the moment... when I went and looked at mine both wrists are fine compared to your pic. Seems really hit and miss with MS at the moment as I've not noticed anything with my Shockwave nor did I notice anything with my Stunticons...

Not really, I have 30 figures in my MST collection (without counting the Optimus re-colors that I allready sold). My issues at the date:

    - Shockwave: full of stress marks.
    - Cliffjumper: melted peg hole of the wrist, barely noticeable.
    - Frenzy: Melted cannon.

    - Bluestreak: yellowed doors, already fixed.
    - Breakdown: unable to transform the chest, already fixed.
    - Soundblaster: came with a broken screw, already fixed.
    - Ramjet: bad finish texture on the back, already fixed.

In my opinion I have only three real figures with issues, and the coincidence is the Covid year that we are living. This year the manufacturers dropped the quality control processes in general. I didn't remember a worst year of my life being a collector. Too many broken / missing pieces asked to ShowZ... And I don't know If I have to ask for a Cliffjumper wrist... :lol

Thought I finally had a buyer for my IF Arcee. It got sent back from the airport because they wouldn't ship it to that location because of Corona. So I guess she's staying. Though I hope she doesn't resent me for trying to get rid of her.

i have a hard time believing they would use heat in that area. pins get a hit press but a ball joint socket would have no need. i wonder if they tried to clean up a defect.

Eventually, you might want to consider something like this:

Try AliExpress. Plenty of options, and not expensive, although I've never bought these before.
