Does anyone think there could be a way to work the Ark into the new timeline? I'm bummed that such a big part of the G1 story is being left out.

 

If I was doing a sequel, it would open with Optimus coming to Earth with the Ark and crashing into the mountains.

 

Optimus is already on earth.

It’s become a breeding ground for hatred and depravity. Even if it started as satire, it’s turned into a cesspool that allows societal wrongs that should be suppressed to flourish behind a collective anonymity. It really shouldn’t be that way, and it definitely shouldn’t be as easily accessible as it is.

 

It seems my speculation was off by a bit or two.
Plus, it would mean that their vehicles modes would most likely be different to match the era.

In regards to the recent leak, assuming it's true, not bad. There's not really anything that stands out to me as questionable, it sounds like it'd make a solid foundation for a movie.

I'd be relieved if the plot was something like an energy crisis on Cybertron rather than the stupid Allspark showing up for the seventh time, and having the Decepticons effectively rule Cybertron would be a great way to establish Prime and his team as the underdogs.

I personally wish they'd utilize something other than Sector 7, but if that's the only thing being transplanted from the Bay film universe, I suppose that's fine.

Honestly the Allspark showing up again wouldn't be that bad for me as much as I think it would, as long really it's only appeared in recent media in WFC and Cyberverse.

One thing I would be relieved by but not getting my hopes up for is that the movie doesn't for get the line in BB that there are Autobots across the galaxy and don't treat Prime and his group of probably 7 bots as the last resistance group. I'd like the Autobots to still have an actual army like in older material in IDW and Cyberverse, even if it isn't on Cybertron, instead of it being a small group of Autobots are somehow able to take on endless waves of Decepticons like in Prime and the Movies.

 

You know as much as I don’t like Camaro bee, and as much as I think the fourth gen camaro is ugly as hell, it would still be something new. I can’t express how tired I am of the plethora of 5th/6th gen camaro Bumblebees, especially since those generations of camaro are way more similar to each other than any other two generations.

 

It is a HELL of a downgrade compared to the 3rd gen.

 

It'd be smart for them to revert Bumblebee back into a VW Beetle. Not only would it help set this universe apart from the Bayverse but it would also blend in with the G1 vibe that they are rumored to be going for. His design in the Bumblebee movie was one of my favorites in the whole franchise and I'd like to see it in action again.

 

Prime should get an update

 

This will probably never happen but I’ll like to see Optimus prime be a fire truck again. It really fits his character.
