Hello again TFW! Here is my custom Wasp made from #70 Cybertronian Bumblebee.

    Starting with vehicle mode:

Let's break down the car rq. I was a bit hesitant about picking up #70 since I already had both camaro Bees and the Jeep Bees, but the car mode sold me. It looks very nice, and that's coming from someone who prefers real life licensed vehicle modes. I wanted to do something different from the monochrome color scheme of Cliffjumper and Bee, so I kept the yellow and added purple caution stripes as a reference to BM Thrust's decos. I also added paint to the front to resemble a Wasp's mandibles. Overall, I really like how it turned out, especially with the yellow accents I kept over from the original deco.

    Robot mode:

As for robot mode, all I can really say is that I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Bonus: "Pupa mode" Wasp transitioning into Waspinator. Although I like Jeep Bee better cause of his cleaner back, the kibble makes for a great makeshift abdomen. also helps that #70 has actual knees.

Man, while not the biggest fan of the movie aesthetic, I really like how this came out. That green is a thing of beauty!

    Same here lol. Thanks!

Yeah, haha the resemblance is striking. I think the head is nothing short of perfect for Wasp!

I might actually put this up for sale. Between work, school, and customs its been kind of hectic, but we'll see.

Thank you! I know what you mean, I primarily collect generations and Armada myself. In a G1 setting you could say the movie greebling is the first sign of Wasp's mutation into Waspinator. Also if you're wondering the green is Tamiya candy lime green. I also used it for my MP Constructor/Constructicon Prowl.

    Thank you very much!

I love this! And it made me realize that I really hope that if that rumored G1 Cybertronian Bumblebee does indeed get made for the Buzzworthy line, it gets repainted as a CHUG Wasp.

Huh, you mean the flying saucer bee from G1 ep1 right? I must have missed that piece of news, but then again I haven't bought any of the buzzworthy stuff. Definitely will if they make new molds though.

There's supposed to be a 'Deluxe Cybertron Bumblebee' coming later in that line and we don't know what it is for sure but the prevailing theory is that it's saucer Bee.

    Very nice!

If I was smart, I'd make an OnStar/instar joke here.

Interesting. I'm trying to picture a Wasp out of the saucer form. It could work, but I think it would take some effort and epoxy putty.

I feel you. I studied biology for many years and I hardly remember anything. BTW I haven't heard the term Instar before. I'm wondering if you studied insects?

    Thank you!

Just unofficial study for designing Pathfinder RPG critters (not official Paizo stuff, only home games & 3rd-party products).

That’s an excellent color palette you used. Has that bug sheen.
