Another month passes without any BW MP news.

 

I have Starscream and Thundercracker pre-ordered but I can't bring myself to order Skywarp until I know what's going on with that opaque cockpit in bot mode. Give us consistency Takara!

Having said that I'm more excited about Skids than any of the seekers. Never would have thought that would be a thing.

 

It’s not opaque. It’s translucent plastic that has been painted on the other side.

 

What was the rumoured next MP Beastie, just wondering...

 

While I appreciate the pedanticness my main point was that it's inconsistent with the previous seekers shown. Could be a quirk with the test-shot. Could be a design choice. Be nice to know before I order him.

Holy fuck! Skywarp is looking even more amazing if that's even remotely possible. End of the year can't come soon enough!
     

 

Well, technically none of the previous seekers have consistent cockpits. Starscream has a clear translucent cockpit, meanwhile Thundercracker has a smokey cockpit. Skywarp's cockpit is more opaque probably due to how dark his colors are.

 

Yeah Takara's really shitting the bed on the 25th anniversary so far. Hasbro and 3rd party are killing it though.

 

Man, MP Beasties are just getting the constant cold shoulder!  

 

These are nice but I still want my MP Tarantulas.

 

I do want Reboost, but I can\'t stand how much it looks like Optimus.

 

Skids and Reboot looks great, can't wait. I too am perplexed by the inconsistent canopies on the seekers, thankfully I only want Starscream and transparent is my preference.

 

Skids and Reboost look better and better. I never thought I'd be this excited for a G1 MP again.

The new Seeker mold looks really nice, but I already double dipped on the characters through the MP-11 molds. Even though I typically buy any Seeker Has/Tak shits out, there's no way in hell I'm shelling out another <$1000 for another set of them.

I'll continue to cross my fingers for more BW MPs soon. I keep hoping for at least Rhinox and Rattrap to complete the initial S1 Maximals.

 

Bothered me a bit at first, but now I kinda dig that they're all a little different.

 

25th Anniversary for BW in Japan is next year, maybe they are holding off...

 

Hmm... I guess I'd be fine with that then. 2 years of fun.
