All Combiners have partsformed officially, right? I mean they've gotten better and had the heads and chest piece built in in CW, but you still had to attach hands and feet. I'd expect that much to probably continue, but not to the extent that G1 Devastator did.

Typical team is 5, three more means more room for built in combiner parts.

 

not really. The typical 5 team makes one bot bigger than the rest to be the torso. Then uses one bot each for the arms and legs. THe constructions are all the same size as each other, so they just use 2 bots for the torso. They still only have one bot for each arm and leg, so are suffer from the same restrictions as any other combiner.

 

Wonder how big they are in 1:35 scale. I believe RiD2001 Optimus Prime is 5 meters tall un-super mode'd, so about Kingdom Primal height. No idea where that'd place these fellas. 3 Voyagers & 1 Deluxe?

 

This new one is better than that Target 2 pack version, but that isn't saying much. The only thing the Target 2-Pack Spike version does that this does not is double as a car mode by laying him down. At least this new version has real arms and legs.

Not sure i see the need for a new devy given the plethora of 3p options and they just re released the cw mold. Kind of wished they had done the uw version. I would have purchased that. I went with green giant for my display. He ticks all the boxes. Quality is there and no strange hollow bits. He's the same height as the other hasbro combiners and just feels great in hand

 

I agree! I own that already and was hoping others get to enjoy the experience too.

 

I'm just missing Crane and Dump Truck and I'll have him complete. But Because Voyager cyclonus stands as proof that Hasbro can do better than the shitty CW mould.

 

I will love to see all Leader Class Dinobots but it is not a 49.99+tax each love, it is more a 40+tax love.

Any chance of this getting a video review soon? Or is it too far out still? Wasn't sure what the release date of this figure is. BUT MAN am I excited for more Dinobots!

I understand there’ll also be a Hasbro Pulse event in early May (so...next week?*). I wonder if it will be covered at all then? Then again, maybe it will be too early for this particular item, and they’ll just go more into the Shattered Glass exclusive stuff.

*Joking. Actually might be later in the month, but I thought I heard ‘early’.

 

The May fan friday is specifically for Studio Series stuff including SS86

 

Unless we are talking about the Perfection series from Ocular Max. Only the team members partsform, no additional parts needed.

 

Right. And I love that series and can’t wait for Defensor. But that’s why I said ‘officially’. That’s a third party.
