Yes! I saw her in concert for the first time in '18 and have now seen her 12 times total. I'm excited for things to start opening up and her next tour to be scheduled. The vinyl is some new limited blue version of her self-titled album that just dropped out of the, well, blue via Loma Vista.

Yeah Newage has been doing some clever stuff with packaging. Straxus is great; I wouldn't have expected him as a Galvatron retool to work so well, but it does. I should pick the EX Galvy too, I love Orson Welles-tron.

 

I would if that was the only issue with the figure but that warped plastic and chest tabbing issues aren't really ignore-able. I've already set up a return with the seller who was more than understanding.

After a long drought of buying new TFs I finally got the Studio Series Hot Rod as it was just released in Japan. (I know...the rest of the world has had it for months.)



I can't believe how SMALL he is! But I LOVE the robot mode. (Car mode not so much.)
I have him posed with the only other TF toy currently on display from my extensive collection, perhaps the jewel of my personal TF collection, the Japan Botcon 97 exclusive Galvatron. All my other TFs are boxed away at the moment to make room for other stuff, but fear not, they'll be on the shelves eventually sooner or later.

These two aren't exactly a match in scale but still look cool together I think.

Anyone have the old Mega SCF Hot Rod/Rodimus figures from 2002? Sadly mine are in America. I'd really love to see them side-by-side with this new Hot Rod. I think they're a bit smaller but not by much. I feel like the designers took those as a starting point and added the ability to trasform to this one. Or maybe that or it's just the Sunbow Hot Rod model is so well documented, if it's faithful they all really look alike. This one is the MOST faithful robot mode of Hot Rod we've ever got apart from statues and stuff.

 

So I came back to Transformers a bit late: I was just in time for the tail-end of the Siege line on shelves and have been quite poor throughout Earthrise so far. (I have picked up and put down three Netflix Soundwaves and I hate myself for not splashing out. Yes, Soundwave at MRP is me splashing out.)

In fact, it was Siege on Netflix that clicked me onto G1 Transformers being back in stores. In classic Hasbro timing, the episodes seemed to be going live about three weeks after you can no longer buy the figures in Smyths... (Optimus Prime and Arcee excluded.)

I dislike the Bayverse (except Bumblebee, that was a fun film) in that I watch it just for the fun of trashing it. So Siege Barricade wasn't on my radar and had long gone from shelves by the time I got back into collecting. Then I started seeing reviews and... well look at him, he's the Skywarp of the carbots. Purple black, mean looking face. I had to have him.

Aliexpress to the rescue with this "without retail box" brilliant boy. The translucent plastic just pops and that black finish and grey stripe. So cool.
He transforms easily, smoothly and clicks together nicely (glares at ER Bluestreak) and I'm thrilled to own him!

 

Not sure will I regret it but damn that bot mode looks fab

I wasn't going to buy a Transformer. Then I later found out I lost 50 bucks because of a swindle by this con of a 'con. So I guess I'm stuck with him now.



And now that I have three-fifths of a Bruticus (Vortex is missing, as well as Blast Off (don't know whether to get the regular retail version or the POTP one)), I can do this.
