I think they're using cargo decks of passenger planes which is why shipping costs hiked during the pandemic when the number of flights between countries was reduced...

Sometimes it's not that easy to explain to a random warehouse worker who doesn't know much about your hobby how to safely remove batteries from an expensive delicate chinese transformers figure

Didn't you say they'd return the package to the sender? So, the seller would just have to remove the batteries and try again (or don't send with it, way easier)

 

I don't know 100% details of how all this works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's all up to the seller, if you bug them enough I'll probably agree to do it. For me, it happens so rare that I don't mind paying those extra couple dollars. A mutual respect because ShowZ was always great to me. Duh, in this case they didn't even ask for the money but just shipped it using paid method... (but I offered to pay them some anyway)

I don't understand the issue with a difficult transformation.

 

Emgo has the patience of a saint. I've never seen him mistransform a figure and he even transforms the most difficult figures multiple times just to do the size comparisons and for his Just Transform It videos where he transforms them twice in one video.

He's the complete opposite of Ben who just does the bare minimum.

 

True, I struggle when I need someone else to transform a figure. Like, EMGO hasn't made the transformation of BMB Optimus, so I have to look for another guy, but EMGO is the best

 

It's just as bad to think everyone else is wrong whether you think it's difficult for everyone or whether you think everyone shouldn't have an issue with it. The general consensus though has definitely leaned towards it being a difficult and unintuitive transformation.

I disagree with your inaccurate take however. To equate one stand point with a completely opposing one takes some mental backflipping, as I never inferred anyone "shouldn't have an issue with it' nor that I "think it's difficult for everyone" per your insinuations.
It's funny to see you specifically take issue with me attempting to speak positively of this figure, as you are allegedly the "general consensus" in so many threads.

I watched another member take issue with you trying to police opinions/posts on a different thread. I'm gonna be cautious, as I'd prefer to not run afoul with such an active user of this site.

I post positively of this figure because I've had a positive experience with it. I didn't just watch YouTube reviews and base my opinion off of the poor handling by the reviewer.
I bought it, I modded it (thanks @savio-prime), and I try to combat the constant slew of negativity towards it by posting pics of it. That's all.
The transformation is hard. So what. That's what I signed up for going in (with this figure).
Also, I wouldn't say it's "unintuitive" as it becomes intuitive the more you transform it.
Have you seen the transformation on film? Looks closer to this knight-mare (pun intended) than the simplified UT version..

It gets very boring as a thread viewer reading the same type of comment, many of which are regurgitations.
There is plenty of room for variance in opinion, despite what you and your "general consensus" may seek to enforce.

 

Where the fuck did we arrive with this

Anyway, my copy is moving so in the meantime I'm re-reading some great posts and tips provided by @savio-prime @Temenos88 and the others so hopefully I won't have such a hard time transforming him   although I'm scared to actually cut some plastic from my copy...
I'm also glad emgo pulled his review, I'm sure this video will help a lot too. Overall I'm optimistic and excited that he's finally out.
