The one in candelas is amazing. They also have a full liquor section with the cheapest prices on vodka and whiskeys in the state.

I ran into Ed, the local Hasbro rep, at the Kipling/70 Target today. While Transformers seems less affected than other lines, he did say that the bare pegs we've been seeing at every store were a mis-calculation on ordering amounts from stores, He said they probably won't start filling pegs again until the holidays. Part of the problem was movies getting pushed back and those orders didn't happen because stores want product that is promoting the current films. As always, TIFWIW

That seems to indicate that big chain stores have a hard time turning the boat around when something doesn't go to plan. Which seems like a weird thing for a big chain. You'd think they'd be used to rearranging product mixes on the fly. Admittedly, they don't much care about toys.

Also, were you there looking for Batman Beyond? I went to that store earlier today and the guy couldn't find one in the back even though Target.com said the store had them.

Wow, I didn't know there was such a thing as a local hasbro rep. Holidays as in Thanksgiving...gulp....as much as I despair everytime I go to Target, Mcfarlane has been a champ and stocking the shelves and probably winning at the bank because a few years ago, I would have "pegged" it for "peg" warmers...and with GI Joe, its been a struggle and I've put a lot of steps in and hunted Walgreens and Targets throughout, but I've gotten all my figs and then some, so it is what it is

Ed's been around forever. I'm surprised he's blaming the stores. I think there have been issues also on the supply side due to COVID. Look how many pre orders from websites got postponed or cancelled last year. Not to talk bad about the guy, but he doesn't always have all the facts. Just saying.

He does have some perspective that we would otherwise not be aware of, so there's that. He is at least privvy to how much a store orders and how fast it sells. He looked in the back at that particular Target and found nothing other than Chang-Chi (the new Marvel movie) stuff, and he doesn't even know when that's supposed to go out.

i wonder if he has any insight into why there's so much damn cyberverse everywhere and almost never generations. if it's a sales difference or just an over ordering issue with cyberverse. working in retail makes me question these kinds of things, especially when i have to stare at the pallets of hand sanitizer and face masks we're never gonna be able to sell through because kroger overbought and saturated the market

Walmart on Tower and I-70 has one Netflix Soundwave (behind three Primes), 3x SS Dino, one SS B-127, and an assortment of Kingdom Core Megatron and Starcreams.

Not sure where you're located, but the 119 Walmart in Longmont has a full case of that wave just sitting on the shelf.

I found the Huffer wave at C-Mills Target today. I also ran into Ed again, and he helped me get SW retros in my hand, until the nice cashier said I couldn't have them (locked until 5/1).

TF's were pretty well stocked at this Target. They had ss starscream, and grimlock, and those little (core?) guys. Also SS Cybertronian Bumblebee Bumblebee, which I wasn't sure if I had, but passed on it.
