Ok sure but can we get a Turbomaster combiner from Menasor this time instead of the G1 carbots.

I'm still a little worried that there won't be enough room for the BW, Armada, and Prime characters to be in next year's Generations line since it looks like G1 will yet again be more dominant. I know that's obviously a given but still what I liked about Kingdom that it allowed enough room for at least many of the season 1 cast of BW to be in the mainline so I was hoping it'd be similar for next year's line. Armada especially since next year's it's 20th anniversary and I don't like the idea of it not having it celebrated in some manner the same way BW's 20th anniversary wasn't celebrated five years ago.

Don't worry, each line will get one (1) new mold and a weird forced shared retool like Prime and Bulkhead supposedly are because G1 is the only true Transformer series and Hasbro wants you to know your opinion is invalid and your favorite show doesn't count

I really hope this leak is incomplete, there's a distinct lack of Armada stuff and only Optimus and Bulkhead for Prime is disappointing. We need a new Knockout so badly. This is the first I've heard of a new Perceptor. I was just about to buy a Legends one on Taobao but maybe I should hold off?
As in Bulkhead and Prime will be the same mold? That seems like an... incredibly strange design choice. Even if they change their designs to G1-ify them it doesn't exactly fill me with hope that either of them will be particularly good.
I'm not collecting BW but if they made a new Transmetal Waspinator and released it in his original/show colors I'd definitely buy it.

With the next 3 years supposedly being named "Legacy" with "Evolution" being the subline for next year maybe each subline will look at different eras of the franchise. Evolution being leftover G1 characters that shows how the series evolved since it's inception (the 80's era), the second subline doing Beast Wars/Machines and maybe RiD 2001 (the 90's era), and the third subline being UT and maybe TFP (the 00's era).

I'm starting to think that the canned bits have a good chance of appearing, as if Hasbro was purposefully misinforming our informants.

That said I just can't understand the want for this guy....

Another example of a middle finger to G1 fans.

I am not a fan of the bayverse designs at all buy I would but that Devcon in a heartbeat. That quadrupedal robot mode is very unique and the giant penis cannon is hilarious.

It's a very unconventional and memorable design, so basically Rule of Cool wins. Even though he appeared in less than a min of the movie, he was so strange that people somehow remember him. The original Devcon is very G1, he's a humanoid robot with a silver face. This is a plus or a con depending on your preferences. I personally wouldn't buy Movie Devcon or G1 Devcon but I understand the want for both.

It's an awesome design and way better use of that name than with bounty hunter wizard.

It's going to be a slow transition. UT and Prime (and RiD...people keep forgetting they existed between BW/BM and UT) will be trickled in as they're able, especially if they need to buoy the line with some big name characters now that they've gone through the G1 versions of guys like Prime, Grimlock, and Megatron.

How is this kinda of comment any different from "TRUKK NOT MUNKEY!"

Bay Devcon isn't "G1" Devcon just like BW Inferno isn't G1 Inferno and Animated Prowl isn't G1 Prowl.

Remember, everytime you anger the Great G1 Spirit you'll be cursed with scalpers in your area, cancelled Amazon orders, and no figure of TwinkleToes McFingerbang from The Last Knight or a new figure of Crosswise from Cybertron.

I wonder what about dotm Devcon made him need such a high part count that he got DQ'd right out the gate. His transformation seems pretty straight forward for most of him.

It's because the main part of his design is he has a gun for a penis.

That is weird. Looking at him, you could probably get away with a pretty good version built off the SS Overload mold.

They could fix that easy enough.

Looking at that, it almost looks like you could use RotF Mixmaster as a starting point. He's got long gangly arms, and the canon. Yeah, I don't get why his parts could would be so high.
