What figures do you regret Buying or Selling?

I Regret buying The Collaborative line. I have no real connection to any of them, I'm gonna unload them all (except Gigawatt)

Even though I have no room for Titan's I regret not purchasing Takara LG Fort Max, Takara LG Grand Max and Takara LG Trypticon. Titans Return has become one of my favorite lines to date.

    Purchase Regrets:
Everything 3P I ever bought years ago (DX9, IF, WJ, FP). I used to buy them, but refocused on real/official releases and was fortunately able to offload them easily. Good riddance.

    Selling Regrets:
A good bit of my G1 stuff during rough times, including Devastator and Metroplex. I was lucky to actually purchase most of them back from the buyer when he decided to get out of collecting and I was in a better financial place, but still never recovered the Deluxe Insecticons. I actually miss those.

Regret buying RTS Tracks. Don't really know how that figure got so much love back in the day. I love MP 10 as much as the next guy, but I kinda regretted it at the time since I wasn't in a good finantial situation and I really don't get that much enjoyment out of MPs as I do CHUGs.

Regret not buying Centurion Drone at the time because this was when Pulse upped their shipping charges by a LOT and that set alone wpuod have cost me like $55.

Kinda regret not buying LG Grand Max now, but I'm sure it was the right decision at the time, and objectively Fort Max is the worst Titan mold so far.

I've thinked a lot about selling but I fear I'm gonna regret it.

I sorta regret spending so much money on the Digivolving Spirits line, but really regret not completing it, only missing MagnaAngemon and BlackWargreymon.

Armada sideswipe. I was buying the entire cartoon cast and even though I read the reviews I didn't listen.

A lot of Siege stuff was not worth the extortionate price e.g. skywarp, the micromaster set, soundblaster. Also buying a lot of very cartoon looking characters only for them to fully cartoon accurate ones a year later in Earthrise.

I shouldn't have sold the fp insecticons or green giant, probably.

LET'S BE REAL, the big regret is figure x, y and exclusive z I should've bought at msrp. That stings.

Buying Regret was definatly Siege. It was a super fun line, but I was only buying them as stand in for the Earthmodes, so when ER and Kingdom came around, I was playing buy and sell when I wish I could've just saved my money for Earthrise.

I regret giving away my childhood collection after I "grew out of Toys"...

    That lasted long

RTS Tracks was my first CHUG figure and was start of my deep dive into collecting CHUG figures. It is now the only CHUG figure from that era that I own. I love that figure.

Regrets. I have said it many times. Selling my Animated collection.

I suppose one of my main purchase regrets is how many times I bought the Fall of Cybertron Bruticus molds. I bought the retail version, the G2 version, the game-accurate Grimlock 2-pack version, and the Wrecker repaint.

I have since sold the retail and G2 versions (at a loss), and am currently trying to sell the Wreckers. And, I mean, I don't DISLIKE the set, but the amount I like it is completely disproportional to how much money I spent on it. Especially now, in retrospect, in a post-Combiner Wars world, it just looks way worse, and I can't believe I bought that set 4 times.

As for selling regrets, my big one isn't TF related. I sold off my MMPR Megazord and Titanus. Fortunately, the (metaphorical) brain tumor that convinced me that was a good idea didn't allow me to sell my childhood Dragonzord. Almost immediately after I sold them, I regretted the crap out of doing so. Fortunately, I didn't end up having to spend TOO much more than I originally paid to get them back.

I am NEVER selling those guys again. Even if I get out of collecting, I'm keeping those guys.

In the early days of eBay, around 2002, I bought a near complete vintage G1 Wheeljack for $30. It was in pretty good shape and that price was pretty common for the time.

My regret is that a year later or so I moved and sold off a bunch of stuff on eBay, including that Wheeljack. I remember feeling good that I made my $30 back...

My big regret will always be selling off my G1 collection as a kid. I get why I did it, but DAMN. Oh well, the figures today are way better than those, I’m hoping to eventually replace them all with newer figures.

Third party Tetra Jets. Crap robot modes and brittle as heck.
Device Label Ravage and Cheetus. Their jaws may as well be made from gold plastic.
    Siege Megatron

Earthrise Sunstreaker. The robot mode led me to believe the car would be smaller due to the windscreen transformation.
    Earthrise Runamuck. Same as Sunstreaker.

    Titans Return Galvatron
    Titans Return Megatron
    Combiner Wars Cyclonus
    Titans Return Soundwave
    Encore Hoist
    Encore Trailbreaker
    Encore Sky Lynx
    Combiner Wars Aerialbots
    Combiner Wars Technobots
Titans Return Quickswitch (I bought the full boxset for €25 extra a couple of weeks later but I didn't know I'd see the set at that price when I bought him on his own)
    Third party Bugbite
    Having to buy 3 Refraktors

POTP Optimus Prime. I just can't look at Orion Pax's ugly mug. Sold him the following week.

    Siege Flywheels. Too small.
    POTP Battletrap. Too small.

    Regret selling:

    Armada Megatron
    Chug Springer repaint of Evac.
World's Smallest Ultra Magnus with third party trailer.

    I have a few regrets.

Giving away my Transformers first edition Optimus Prime, TFP deluxe wheeljack and a few other Transformers Prime figures that I don't want to get into lol

I also gave away my studio series lockdown, stinger, crowbar and a few other Studio series figures that y'all would probably be ready to fight me for giving away. I bought a few of them back but still I should have never gave them away in the first place.

As far as figures that I regret buying I would have to say certain human alliance figures from back in the day, Rotf Evac to a certain extent and maybe my masterpiece movie figures

Recent regret, Kingdom Airazor. That figure was a bad time right out of the box. Wings feel cheap and brittle to mess with, haven't even bothered transforming the thing.

As for sellers remorse...I guess some of the "off screen" guys from the movie lines. There were a lot of those figures I actually really liked. Longarm (The tow-truck.) comes to mind.

Not buying Hasbro MP-1 the first time I saw him for only $50 MISB. Not keeping my Grand Maximus Preorder. Once Black Zarack arrives he’ll be the only Titan I’m missing so I literally need him for my collection and it’s going to cost me.

I regret every G1 figure that I sold or traded away as a kid, particularly Highbrow, Blaster, Soundwave, Hot Rod, Pipes and Wheelie.

Off the top of my head the only figure that I can think of really regretting is a loose, complete Universe Octane/Tankor. I chose him over Sky Shadow. :banghead:  I had a couple Collectors Club Subscription Service figures that I flat out hated or just didn’t care about, like Thrustinator or Carzap, but they passed through my hands so quickly that they made no impression.
