This custom was my first venture into dyeing and it actually went very smoothly. Soundwave started off as siege crosshairs. I basically dyed the red parts (thighs and shoulder joint) and swapped out what I couldn’t dye with ironhide (windshield hinge and neck). I ended up having to do a little more work than anticipated, but in the end I think it was worth it. Big thanks to TFWSteamshield on cults3d for his head.
Looks great The only thing I don't get is why pretty much everybody paints the windshield of this mold from the outside. It looks way better when it's painted from the inside. You keep all of the nice looking details.

I love this! I hope we get a Generations Soundwave with an alt mode like this some day. And if/when we get a Sir Soundwave in that Shattered Glass line, it would be best if they took a few cues from this custom. Splendid work!
