Ha! I just pulled that 17 number out of my ass. Thanks for doing the homework. They were also going to do those Combiner Wars replacements for Onslaught and Motor Master (actual prototypes exist for those) and we've seen two protos of their Predacons. So there's 18 I guess.

And I guess they've released TWO new figures.

Does this mean they’ll be doing berserker and dreadbot as well then? One is a very simple repaint, the other would require some remolding but would likely be easier than starting from scratch.

Nothing TW has produced since losing their designers to the forming of Zeta has given me any hope that their products are worth the money. They are too small, too fiddly, QC is not on point and although their paint is nice overall their efforts seem like a waste. I'm all for plucky 3rd Party companies stealing thunder from some of the biggies, but at this point I'd rather see TW go the way of BadCube (fade while their star isn't completely tarnished) then to eventually become Impossible Toys... a despised blight on the 3rd Party landscape.

They're skipping that far ahead? I don't get it. The dreads aren't exactly in high demand, right?

I'd personally prefer if they did BB Dropkick after Shatter but they keep jumping between the Bayverse, Knightverse and the WWII line :p

This is the mpm scale, not the ss scale right?

given how great all of their stuff ends up looking, I’m sure I’ll get them. But I’m really not very excited about them. Out of the figures they’ve teased Drift and the ice cream twins are the only ones I genuinely feel like I need (and of course Shatter, but she’s far along in development).

I’d also love to see them (or some ko company upscale their ss bb and hot rod).

Edit: oh, and sentinel of course!

Ooo hope this means some of their mad promotion is actually becoming tangible!

I’d love to fill out my decepticons with some mpm scale Dreads :)

I mean to me at least they were always some of the most interesting bayverse designs. Granted that is literally all they have going for them besides the challenge of changing three distinct bot modes into the same alt mode.

At this point I get excited for any movies figures that aren't just another rendition of Last Knight Optimus, Bumblebee Optimus, and Beetle Bumblebee. 3rd party companies have an obsession with those 3 designs

Cool! But TW's products haven't been great lately... No ratchets and they have QC issues...

Yes!! I’m excited for these :)  Hoping they can manage the three identical alt modes. These guys with Dino, Bee & Ironhide for their showdown will look awesome.

Nah, see, I fucking hate that the movies gave up on trying to make the robots actually look like they turned into their alt modes, starting with Dark of the Moon. And the Dreads are some of the absolute worst in that respect, Only reason I'd be interested to see them at this scale, is if they somehow work some Unique Toys TLK Optimus-esque magic. But even then, I'd much prefer to see designs like Drfit and Crosshairs done first.

(Who am I kidding, though. I don't actually have the money to afford this shit, LOL.)

Just make that beast Hatchet already (and maybe Devcon - that would be something, right?)
