Flame Toys SG Drift has really great colors. Adding in that purple and tweaking the red to more of a maroon are just beautiful.

Preordered Windblade yesterday.   Looking forward to getting her and experiencing my first time building a Furai kit.

 

Does this model include guns? I thought SG Drift’s whole thing was he used Blurr’s pistols in addition to the sword.

 

I don't think so. Between that and the more maroon colors, the idea here seems to be the original SG Drift concept from the Club put through a "what can we actually officially release?" Hasbro filter to be an updated version of the character that's more just Drift from an alternate universe instead of being "lol, he's totally Transformers' Deadpool".

 

No photos show any guns or gun holsters, so probably not.

The 3K one does, but not the Furai model.

Considering the complete lack of promotion for the upcoming release, it's highly unlikely he's coming this month as original projected, if that's what you're asking.

 

I haven't seen any recent updates. Just checking if anyone else has seen anything.

Kind of figured the Leo wouldn't make it out in April.

I usually like my transformers to transform, but I'm tempted to make an exception in this case. That red is gorgeous, and building an affordable model kit that's almost identical to the 3K figure is pretty appealing.

He's begging for some added paint detail, but would be fun to add some, especially since it's been a while since I built a kit. This might be my first Flame Toys purchase!

 

Is it possible that the red on the model kit looks even better than the maroon color used on the giant K3 figure..!?

SG Drift appears to be bright-ish red, but the K3 toy gave him a darker almost maroon-sort of color.
