Thanks to @erwinsims, I just added the old ROTF Twins to my Mpm collection. The paint job he made on them is simply incredibile. It makes them look the part with my mpms!!! So much, that I asked him to also paint for me the Battle Blade Bee and ROTF Sideswipe. Oh, he also gave me his Ss Sisters!!! How the hell can he paint so good such small figures?

The old deluxes scale perfectly with the mpms Trucks and big bots. They aren't mpm quality but with such a good paint job they're still very good.

 

It's not an excuse it's reality. "Classes" only exist to make things easier to understand for kids, parents, retailers, sales people, etc. 3P doesn't really have that cause they can do whatever they want cause they're not selling millions of units to the entire world, but size classes are only "SIZE classes" because that's what hasbro decided was the best way to distinguish between them and clearly show the value to parents and kids. I'd like to think that we have an easier time deciding what we feel is justified for our money.

Well exactly this. If they do a good job then it's justified. But that goes for any figure, so I don't see the distinction here.

 

At least, from the nasty surprise of finding the broken component in the bag, the good news that you will get a replacement (so, with a little glue you fix the first component, so your SS Lockdwon will have two spark extractors... )! As I said before, weapons for SS Lockdown... are never enough! 

 

You are 100% correct my friend! And I was able to fix it, although there is some electrical tape on there right now to hold the glue. Also, I got some new colored LEDs and decided to try them on Lockdown:

 

Glad you were able to fix it and LOVE the pictures!! Especially the middle 2 (red and green one) I could totally see Lockdown with a couple of Xenomorphs in that green third pic for sure!!!

Dead End was the perfect not-Ferrari. Perhaps too perfect for Dino that Ferrari would’ve thrown a hissy fit if he were as “accurate” as him.

I expect Sideways to be a pretty heavy retool. Basically every single part of Dino's car mode can be removed from the robot skeleton. I think it's pretty likely the faux-Audi will be at least partially reshelled to give it that distinct rounded look.

Thanks! And well, Lockdown basically says he’s gone all over the universe hunting things, so it’s entirely possible that he’s encountered some form of the xenomorph!

Yeah that was a much better take on the “faux-rarri” but I think you’re right that a random limb of a combiner is gonna get a lot less attention from big companies than a live action character that’s already on their radar.

Between SS ROTF Bee and SS 76 Camaro Bee? Definitely ROTF Bee. 76 Bee is good if you get either SS-27 Clunker Bee or Buzzworthy SS-15, but ROTF Bee is the best deluxe Bumblebee ever IMO.

 

RoTF Bee is much better than the 76 Bee IMO

 

I've got SS49 Bee so I was leaning towards old Camaro Bee. What's wrong with old Camaro Bee? Is he a bad mold?
