Is this really G1 design? Or something this company just made up? More like Cybertron OP to me.

Looks like they're just building a "g1" optimus on their fire convoy skeleton. Kinda disappointing, was hoping for more RID/Car Robots characters!

It's really weird to see Prime with hulking proportions. That's something I expect from takes on Megatron.

 

His little wings are kind of cute.

 

Honestly? Makes me appreciate the style of Flame Toys more. It tries to emulate that same vibe, but instead, it kinda just falls flat.

According to the weibo, that RID Magnus project is on hold because the design cost is too high.

He's got kinda like an anime look somehow. I like him.

 

Strange how it feels like just a reskin of their RID Optimus. I guess it makes sense from a production standpoint. If they were gonna do a reskin, it would have been cool to see a retooling to do a RID Scourge. With the wings in back, is he supposed to God Ginrai or Galaxy Force Optimus?

 

Haha! That is kind of cute! Whoever makes that needs to do like a pink and white Hello Kitty repaint of it. Really lean into the neko aesthetic of the truck mode.

 

Probably a good - cheaper - alternative to the flametoys

 

One thing that's interesting is the RID version of this if I remember correctly, is quite matte finish for the reds(obviously some touches of metallic paint here and there. I wonder if the final of this will be the same way.
