There is no best, there is only which one you are successful at securing an order. Most of the sites suck ass during preorder madness, giving you tons of errors and other BS. Just check them all and be fast and persistent.
Cool of Bandai to give a full set and just the armor set. One thing here is that Bandai's super amount of tampo printing on the armor is pretty beneficial here and gives it an upper hand over the Arcadia version.
Kurama opened up a PO for $145 USD for the VF-1J Armored parts, I was able to get one but before I can even post it here. Sold out
I’m considering the bundle myself. Keep 1 VF-1J with the grey trim visor and the other standard. Not helped by the fact that my DX VF-1J is the only 1 of my DX VF-1’s with a bad drawer joint. Given the timing the bundle would be a cool Christmas present.
Kurama took their preorder page down and then put it right back up after bumping the price to $159. Nice.
So after a quick 'n dirty conversion, it seems the VF-1J with GBP is actually only going to be about the same price as the DX Roy. No too bad after all.
It’s official, Japanese Macross toys now open for release to a worldwide audience: Bigwest will do a global release of the MACROSS series. Bigwest/将在全世界发布超时空要塞系列。 “Bigwest Begins Global Release of Animation “Macross” Series from April 9 Bigwest Co., Ltd. has announced the release of all works that are part of the “Macross” franchise made after 1987 to a worldwide audience from April 9, 2021. This not only includes the “Macross Delta” film currently in production, but all new material that follows it as well. This is not limited to anime titles, but also includes games, toys, live performances and other content and merchandising as well. The company has prepared an official YouTube channel as well as a Twitter account for its fans. Twitter::@MACROSS_BIGWEST YouTube:MACROSS ch” Kind of confused by the 1987 part, does this mean still no Japanese toys from the SDF Macross TV series/DYRL? for domestic release outside of Japan? Or maybe it just means any toy made after 1987 is able to be released? Maybe any Japanese SDF Macross/DYRL? toy will be distributed through Harmony Gold outside of Japan? Hope Big West clarifies soon.
Full set for me! I'll skip PO night (like I always do) and pay the late tax on release day. It's generally only $50-75.
Hey guys, I've reached this thread by googling... does anyone knows if this thing is still done and when it will be done?
Hey guys, I'm still alive! Got my order in with Big in Japan, and had my proxy order more for my store if people miss out.
Post-1987 means post-DYRL/FB2012 stuff. MII and up. Wonder if Arcadia will resurrect the old Yamato-USA franchise for their M+, M7 and M0 valks local distro...
I get that part as it pertains to series but was wondering if it covered modern toys based on series prior to 1987
