Yeah, I prefer not to have those or any other Haslab releases. Just release stuff that people want and make them available.
Yeah, the problem with Mangog is he's in that weird space of "too big to be a BAF" and "too small to be a haslab"
And also he's a little niche, which doesn't help. I've read a disgusting amount of comics and I'm not sure I've ever read one with him in it.
Yeah, I don't care for BAFs either. Just make the figure how it needs to be and sell it. You need to read more comic books!
I think he is referring too Thor: Love & Thunder, which seems to mainly be adapting the Gorr the God Butcher thing.
Does this mean one could order off of the Walgreens site or is it going to be mostly an online scalper type of situation if we don't have any Walgreens around that carry figures?
Out of all exclusives...I hate hunting Walgreens ML exclusives the most. The only one I’ve been able to find has been Medusa. The rest have been ordered off ebay at a 50% markup
With modular Iron Man coming now might finally be the time for me to start thinking about how to make a Hall of Armors. Anyone come up with a good idea for armor chambers/compartments?
I don't expect Mangog to be in Love and Thunder but he would make a decent BAF for a movie wave considering it also is introducing Jane Foster as Thor. And that we're still missing a ton of characters from Aaron's Thor run that are just dying for figures.
Mine hasn’t been cancelled and I ran up on some in the wild. Thought about picking one up, but I preordered it with a significant discount back when Target had that promotion. Now I’m thinking maybe I should have picked one up in case Target cancels mine.
So that wolverine / hawkeye 2 pack, has anyone repurposed old man hawkeye as Whistler? When they first showed off that figure I'm like... that sure does look like Kristofferson.
It's not that unlikely. We've already had a bunch of figures from his run (Unworthy Thor, Jane, Young Thor, the King Thor BAF, for example). I doubt they would do both a comic Gorr and a movie one in a timely fashion, but the odds of the latter are pretty good. And at some point they're going to run out of ideas and have to do "Spider-Man With Viking Helmet" for the annual Spidey wave.
