Transformers Fall of Cybertron

 

I love the weapons system in ROTF, and the story from WFC.

 

This game is my favorite too partly because I got to see more of my favorite characters from Armada. But is really well made game for its time, enpcieally when you consider that it was pretty much made in a year. I would hope Hasbro remember this gem in the future, but who knows.

 

I was a big fan of Transformers Battle Tactics. Lots of great times and teams.

 

War For Cybertron.

I played it from the testing stage on Xbox 360, was in the top 1% in multiplayer for the year or so I played it.

(I don't have a next gen console or play games online anymore)

 

Easily devastation.
It's the only tf game that has an entertaining balance of ranged and melee combat, it's use of transforming in combat is genius, and the boss fights are the best in the franchise. Also, best soundtrack, bar none. The game's only crime is not giving me more. I see why there wasn't a decepticon campaign, but I love this game so much, i can't help but want even more. Could you imagine a devastation-like game for other parts of G1, or even other parts of the franchise? IDK about you, but Springer, Sky lynx, drift, the predacons, and and thunderwing would make for some incredible boss fights.

 

Fall of Cybertron for sure! Love the High Moon character designs, and I have so many fond memories of FoC multiplayer!

 

Short candidate list, so probably the first War for Cybertron. It was a surprise holiday gift from a friend, and had fun going through the story mode and getting killed a lot in Multiplayer. Probably followed by EarthWars, it's not much, but it's been a habit for years and been with the same squad for almost that long.

 

Wfc easily had the best multiplayer. Some of the others had decently fun stuff, but wfc was well balanced and loads of fun in legit competitive play. When my buddy and I played he cracked the top 5 players on 360 at one point if I recall correctly, best I ever made was top 15 I think.

 

Just give me an excellent single-player mode with G1 cast and aesthetics. Devastation was close to perfection, but I always wanted a sequel with more playable characters.

 

I'm too scatterbrained so I have to split it into three categories.
For multiplayer and gameplay: Revenge Of The Fallen (Jazz was OP!)
For challenge: Transformers PS2 by Atari
For story/world/aesthetic/tone: War for Cybertron

My dream would be a blend of the three.

 

Still my favorite.
