One of the only things I somewhat hate about Wingfinger is that Wingfinger is symmetrical. It feels out of place when compared to the rest. Paleotrex is not symmetrical, Ractonite isn't either. But Wingfinger is. Why is that the case. And I wonder whether there will be a way to manipulate the parts to make him asymmetrical.

 

Well the pteranodon head is on one side if that counts. Maybe you could implement it into his arm or something?

Also, hes a maximal, unlike the other 2, so you could claim as a "good guy" his design is more normal than normal? Just an excuse

 

Voyager class would be good for scale but it would hold back on a lot of things since he has a really complex design. Most leader class figures are around voyager anyways with most of the budget going into the quality rather than the size.

Not really complex since, again, the Robotmasters nailed it many years ago aside from awful lion mode.

Leader Class figures usually come with many accessories if they keep a sorta Voyager size. I don't think Lio Convoy needs that amount of stuff.

Couldn't wait to get to May 5th on Amazon for Ractonite. So I paid $10 more for him on eBay to get him (hopefully) by this Saturday. Will it be worth it? I hope so.

Though this might fit more into the Speculation Thread, I really think that, with enough remolding and/or new parts, Hasbro and Takara could create the Powered Buggy that came with what I call "Proto-Magnus" (the Diaclone Powered Convoy) from Earthrise Decepticon Fasttrack.

 

My local plastic crack dealer has a PO which I gladly bit (can't find the amazon PO link) for Tracks. ETA October 2021.

I wished they'd have done that with the MP Diaclone Magnus release. All we got was Marrisa Faireborn.

 

So, many years ago i bought the StarCats Dinosaur Team.

I sold it not so much later because it was a complete piece of shit in terms of articulation, transformation and loose joints. Then i bought the ToyWorld Dino Combiner and sold him too because the knee and ankle joints and connectors were SO badly engineered that he couldn't even stand without additional support. Also, the not-Grimlock had too much partsforming for my tastes.
But i kept the StarCats combiner weapons and even if i lost most of them when i moved to the new house in 2018 (as long as a hand of my tfc Ares, dammit, now i have to display him with the Perfect Effect PC-21 upgrade kit for Volcanicus, a combiner that i don't own yet) i managed to save a couple of parts that turned into a decent weapon for Barney.

I also found a way to store the two parts of his new weapon in dino mode, though i don't think he likes that...





He can also hold and store this sword from the CW line but i didn't find it appealing enough, it was too short.

Also, i'm 100% sure he can store also this sword from the T30 Blitzwing but i don't remember where i have mine (last time i've seen it was around christmas, i'm gonna search for it when my lazyness goes away)

 

Ok, found Blitzo's sword. I mean T30 Blitzo, not the Helluva Boss one.
It works PERFECTLY with Barney and immediately became his official weapon.







Now he's 99% perfect.

If he had a red and black/grey color scheme he would be 100% perfect.
And no, the T-Wrecks repaint doesn't look so much better to me. Too much blue. I mean, there should be NO blue at all by my opinion for him go be perfect...

And it even came inside its own little box. Like the Centurion Drone Pack. I say a redeco/remold of the older Generations Ultra Magnus with a separate robot like the DNA Design Kit gave it with a Deluxe Class Siege Cog/Earthrise Decepticon Fasttrack remold would work well with it.

 

Isn't the MP Delta Magnus supposed to be the drone buddy taking up the mantle of the original now dead Delta Magnus (represented by the original toy) instead of a new figure of Delta Magnus himself?

This is honestly making me want to see a Selects Delta Magnus happen even more. I mean even if it uses the Kingdom Ultra Magnus mold I would so nab it.
