Turns out the collector that I’d picked up an extra Deseeus Clone for had bought 3 Scourges before the Sweeps were announced, so $10 and a Clone later I’m one step closer to finishing my Movie shelf. Looking forward to Unicron showing up soon, plus Galvatron, Wreck-Gar, the remaining Dinos, and the Sweeps.

It shouldn’t be too long now. Hot Rod and Scourge started to show up in Canadian Walmart this week, and Magnus a couple of weeks ago.

It was an absolute mission hunting this lot down. Took 2 days and racking up 60 miles in the car travelling to Ipswich and Colchester branch of Smyths. Cleared the very low stock numbers they had. Still need one more Desseus Drone for my mate.

I would add the D drone wears the siege ironhide/ratchet mould really well.

 

My Studio Series Kup arrive today. It was delivered by FedEx and l was surprised they work on Sunday.

I've been super busy this week and then also got my second COVID shot and that knocked me on my ass for a few days. But I had a bunch of stuff arrive... I just started actually collecting TF stuff in the past month or so but I guess one thing you should know about me is that when I get into something I go HARD, lol.


I don't know much about the TF fandom's general feelings about particular series and stuff but, man, I do not like the RID Ultra Magnus figure. Design, engineering, nothing. Ugh. I'm a completionist and that makes this hobby plus my other collection endeavors like mildly annoying, but I've found that sometimes I'll like a toy more if I have it in hand and can mess with it... yeah, not for this one. I hated transforming him into either mode and I kinda dread combining him with Optimus. (which is another design I'm not sold on, but I had a weird curiosity about.) I guess I'll find out soon since I'm about to open him.

Buy a lottery ticket. I have 14 of those cards, mostly Prime and the Ark, Two Dinobots and a lone Megatron, not one came with that specific character.

 

FINALLY got my Cyclonus from bbts yesterday. Incredible figure. It feels like I waited an eternity for this. This is the real "Unicron Trilogy" At last the band is back together!

 

It's the combined form that sells the 2... optimus is cool in both modes alone, ultra magnus is cool in car carrier mode, but bot mode suffers... combine them just like the animation, beginning with the "hand shake" and it becomes what it was meant to be.

I even tracked down the Sam's club variants after that combination.
