After zeta scare no ones touching this mold. As for 3rd parties, zeta’s your only bet. Wouldn’t put much hope in one when making the 20th Optimus prime is much safer.

If I could like this statement even more I would!!! No one in their right minds will even touch this mold!!! This was a one and done by Hasbro, and they knocked it out of the park!!! I am one of the people who have also purchased Studio cell, and thoroughly enjoy that figure, but that can’t hold a candle to haslab’s!!! People will disagree I’m sure, and that’s okay. Studio cell is a great cartoon accurate interpretation of Unicron, but nothing could have prepared me for how much Haslab’s Unicron could have blown my mind!! This is literally the Holy Grail of my entire collection!!!! I do not regret for one second making this purchase!!! Good luck waiting for a 3rd party to copy it or do better, cause it ain’t happening. You snooze, you loose!!!!

Managed to just fit him in my largest cabinet. The back kibble makes posing limited and I had to remove one of the ring pieces on each side. But at least this way he stays safe and dust free rather than putting him on top of the shelf.

I just got him in mine too by removing one wing on each side. Fyi, I also removed the back support on the stand so I could get him on it. My cabinet has a 15" depth (22" wide).

Nicely done. Unfortunately my cabinet isn't deep enough to fit the stand even with the back support removed. The back kibble rests on the glass backing so it should hopefully hold up over time without the stand.

Could someone take a few pics of Unicron with G1 Fort Max if they have both? I'm curious to see how they compare in not only height but bulk as well.

Has anyone discovered the proper Orange color paint for the big guy? I have a tiny chip on his forehead that I'd like to quickly cover up.

Thanks, that's interesting advice. I'm in Australia so it's a smaller market than the US but also there are fewer Unicron's up for sale so not sure how it will go. The figure cost me AU$880, so it would need to sell for a lot to bring a really large return. I'm not fussed, just want my money back, the cost of shipping and fees and some extra change for my trouble. I'm glad you mentioned this though because I didn't realize eBay was taking 11% fee from sales. That's a LOT. Need to ensure I'm not out of pocket because of fees!

Different figure altogether but that's ok. I'll wait for pics from someone else.

*Sigh*. Canada. Not that you guys should have to wait this long either, but man, I live about an hour from Hasbro's warehouse in California. And I'm still waiting.

Mike from Hasbro Pulse told me that they hope to get everyone's shipped out by 4/22. Fingers crossed, but I wouldn't be surprised if they blow right past that deadline.

For Ebay US - Final value fee % + $0.30 per order - 12.55% on total amount of the sale up to $7,500 calculated per item - 2.35% on the portion of the sale over $7,500 - There is also some shipping % ebay assesses on your shipping charge the buyer pays - Paypal (before ebay dropped them for in house managed payments to act like a bank & make the paypal fee too) was 3% I think?

I checked and the Paypal was $43.66 on their fee (Ebay $136). So total fee (for an American) was $179.00 on $1275 +100 shipping. Not sure if they charged me on the shipping I got or not. So figure in your shipping obviously and what they're gonna take so you do ok on the sale.

I shipped it UPS which did come out to be about $100 on the nose. The problem was it was a "residential" delivery which they charge more for, plus I wanted a signature and insurance for the cost of the auction so grand total was $120 shipped. They also tacked on a couple bucks for "bulky package". I sorta lost the $20 since I asked $100 but I figure it was worth it to make sure it got there and I was covered if it got broken or something in transit.

I could have just shipped it with straight weight which would have been a lot less but I figured it was better not to screw around so I threw the dimensions in there and weight and that's where it ended up.

I'm in the GTA (Canada) and mine just showed up out of the blue this morning. Happened to have the front door open when the FedEx truck pulled up, so knew exactly what is was when I saw the size of the box. But the funniest part—Hasbro sent me an email 2 hours later to let me know it had shipped and I can now track the package. True to character, Unicron just shows up whenever the hell he wants.

Just got mine too! (I'm in Calgary). Now I can just look forward to FedEx dumping him in a snowbank halfway up my sidewalk.
